We have been boondocking in our own way for the last 25 years. We have recently semi retired and look forward to hosting and meeting other hosts. We are looking forward to meeting likeminded people on the move.
We have been problem solvers for the past 30 years with our businesses. If we can’t fix it we know who can. Pretty well everything.
We have been having a lot of fun in Florida the last couple of winters.
We have hung our hat at our current location for over 30 years. It’s been our home , home to our family , pets and business for 30 years as well. Bedeque PEI is our hometown.
We have a 34’ Monaco and usually tow a 2012 Honda Pilot
The location if perfect as a base to explore the island , it is just minutes from the bridge. There is lots of space and is easy to find , it is quiet and the view is lovely. The host has a massive barn for storing boats and motor homes and as there was to be a massive storm on Thursday he generously offered for us to stay longer and park our motor home in the barn. We did not take him up on the offer and left to leave the island before the storm hit ( they got more than 120 mm or rain and high winds on Thursday). The host was friendly and helpful and I would recommend this site as a base for anyone wanting to explore the island.
This is probably the best location to use as a base for visits to anywhere on PEI
Very quiet yet close to the bridge ! We had to leave earlier than planned as we were in need of a sani dump station and fresh potable water!
We never met our Jose s in person although we did exchange messages!
Our hosts were very accommodating and we had a great place to boondock. Th weather was a bit on the windy side but we had a great time st PEI National Park and into Charlottetown to the PEI Brewing Co and into summerside to the Evermoore Brewery. Wish we'd had more time as the sun came out today.
Very quiet and convenient location, a good stay even though we did not meet our hosts. Recommended location!
We stayed by a building located just off of the highway. It was no frills, but felt safe, had security lights and we enjoyed the farming activity next door. There is a level gravel lot and the traffic was non existent at night providing a great night's sleep! We spent the days touring the Island. Sadly, we did not get to meet our hosts, but we appreciate the opportunity to stay at their place.
We enjoyed staying at this location! We didn't get a chance to meet our hosts but it was very quiet and peaceful there. The parking area was huge and we didn't have any trouble finding a level place to park. Our thanks for a peaceful place to stay.
This was a wonderful BW site, very convenient location for our tour of the central and western parts of PE. We unfortunately were not able to meet up with our hosts but there communications with them were timely and detailed. We really appreciate their hospitality. They offered us extra days so that we could see more of the area.
This was a very convenient spot to stay. We haven’ had a chance to meet Rosewoodpei yet but they graciously offered us to stay a few extra days to see the surrounding area. We hope that we will be able to meet them at some point. We have enjoyed our visit to PEI very much.
Loved staying here! Really appreciated the quiet and water!
We only stayed one night but worked out well for us, did a tour of this area and moved across Island for next planed stay to join family for a few days, life is good.
This is a great place to stay. Beautiful country scenery. Large parking place. Easy to find. I will stay here again when in the area.
We had a day open and Rosewood helped us out, they were not there but communications great, asked about space best, no problem, lovely view of the valley and water in distance as well as PEI famous country churches, didn't get the great sunset or sunrise, slept in LOL very quiet highly recommend
Quiet location with an easy drive to summerside. Heath was very helpful. He saw us having trouble accessing water on his security camera and came over to help us. We had weather concerns going to Nova Scotia over the bridge so he offered us extra nights if needed. A quiet place to stay if you are in the area.
I didn’t meet my hosts (they lived down the road) but Heath was just on the other end of the phone if I needed anything (which I didn’t). Spent a quiet night surrounded by farmer’s fields. Nice! Thanks Heath!
Beautiful piece of property, very quiet and serene. We didn’t get to meet the hosts but they were easy to get in touch with and very helpful with directions and any info we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here on your next visit to this beautiful island.
Wrote a more detailed positive reference immediately after our stay, so not sure where it went... We enjoyed a nice quiet stay at Rosewood, soon after arriving on PEI.
Hosts were very accommodating, we didn't get to meet but very helpful over the phone! Great view of the salt marsh and fields! Very peaceful.
We enjoyed a nice, quiet stay for our first 2 nights on PEI. Their site is near the bridge, and easy to find with the pic sent by our host. Didn't meet our host until we were leaving, but appreciated his warm welcome to PEI.
We are happy to have been welcomed in this quiet and peaceful place. The communication with the host was easy and pleasant by email even if we could meet only briefly.
Thank you for hosting us on your spot.
We met this lovely couple in Florida while boondocking in Deep Creek Preserve. Looking forward to spending some time together in PEI and boondocking on their property. Thanks for invite guys.
