I guess I'm what you would call "your average Joe". Grew up on a small farm in Southern Indiana, and then moved to east-central Illinois about 34 years ago when I went to work at a local refinery. I love the out doors and spend much of my free time (and there is never enough) piddling around our 30 acre "farm", doing some motorcycle or ATV riding, or maybe in the woods hunting. My wife is a nurse, and my best friend. We have a 5th wheel toy-hauler that we love to drag all over the country when we have the time.
I’m an auto/diesel mechanic by trade, but haven’t made a living in that profession for many years. I’m still pretty handy with a wrench, and a decent electrician and plumber when duty calls.
Just a couple of barn cats.
Up to this point, the only boondocking we've done has been at a few Wal-marts, truck stops, and rest areas.

Mark kindly did not use our site when he realized he could not back their LARGE truck and LARGE 5th wheel into our site without driving on our neighbor's yard. I feel so bad about it as it was close to 8:30 and I have to wonder where they spent the night. We just had a 60' combination of a 40 ft. Class A RV and large trailer, with vehicle in it, spend several days. I am going to add to my "details" that certain large vehicles may have a problem.
Mark was right on top of replying unfortunately i messed up my travel plans and was unable to stay - i texted i hope you got it...hope there was no inconvenience - thanks again
