65 years old. Earned BS+MS degrees. Worked 32 years for the state of Oregon as a fish research scientist. Now travelling USA during three month trips twice annually for the last three years. Wife Barbara earned BA degree in college. She worked in real estate while raising two sons, and is very involved as a volunteer in our community.
We have really enjoyed travelling around the USA, meeting local people and learning more about our great country, local history, and local issues.
Willing to share information on travel experiences in areas that may be of interest to hosts. Willing to help host with a task or two that needs muscle.
Last pet passed away in 2018. Miss her very much.

Wonderful people, really enjoyed our conversation. You are always welcome here.
I got pulled away by life's vagaries n never got to meet 'em. They're still welcome back.
We have been blessed this summer with terrific guests, and Tom_Satterhwaite added themselves to out list. They are just flat out congenial people and the kind of folks we'd love to have again. In addition, he assisted me with some prep work (caulking and scraping) for an ongoing painting project. What a pleasant surprise!
Nice folks.. we enjoyed a nice game of chess (I lost).. welcomed back anytime...
