As our careers near their completion, we are looking for new adventures- hence the RV.
Karl is the manager of respiratory services for a children's hospital in Wilmington, NC. I appreciate interesting people and unique experiences. My first career was in residential construction, remodeling, and restoration work, and I still value any excuse to buy a new tool.
Judi (my wife) is an empathic introvert, who values harmony, serenity, and nature. She works in mental health, but should have been a film critic! Judi's family camped in RVs throughout her childhood, and the four of them crossed the US to Alaska and back across Canada in a slide-in truck camper.
All manner of construction and repairs. I can also resuscitate a 500 gram infant, if the occasion arises.
We have two small, mostly indoor, non-shedding dogs.
Mischa is an obedient, elderly miniature schnauzer, who sleeps about 22 hrs a day. She loves people, but being an alpha-dog, she is less enthusiastic about other dogs, so we limit her exposure to them.
Rico is a little Havanese, the national dog of Cuba. He loves anything that breathes- except lizards for some reason. He doesn't bark much, is well-trained, and if you have a treat, he can easily be bribed to perform.
As of this writing, I've never spent a night in an RV. (Update pending!)
Currently living in Wilmington, NC. Karl was born in Buffalo, NY, and grew up in Westport, CT and Pittsburgh, PA. Last 30 years have been in eastern NC. Judi was born in Alcala de Henares, Spain. Her dad was in the Air Force, and growing up, she lived throughout the US. One branch of her family in NC goes back to 1650!
