We are a power couple from Denver, Colorado. Damien is in finance and Maggie is in marketing. We also have a condo we rent out via Airbnb in downtown Denver.
We have taken our professions and made them mobile so we can try out full time RVing. We have completed a 90 day road trip and spent the last 4 months in the Poconos, renovating our 1973 GMC Motorhome. Inside and out. Sometimes, we need a little help with a night or two along the way. Usually because we have work to do/a deadline to meet.
Quiet, responsible adults, we are great guests to have over. We are autonomous and usually pretty busy, so we will stay out of your hair. We look forward to meeting new people along our way too, so we love to chat it up when the time presents. Thanks, in advance, for having us in your space!
Damien does all of the mechanical work on our coach, so I would say he is exceptionally mechanically inclined. He has changed our intake manifold gasket, refurbished our gas tanks, replaced our gas lines, added a fuel pump, replaced the alternator and belts. He has done brake work, installed a new stereo system with a back up camera, added solar to our house power system and more.
I am the crafty/handy one. I made our curtains, put up a backsplash (made of all of our old hotel room keys), sanded, painted and rehung the cabinets, sewed the new upholstery for all 4 couches and mounted the TV on the wall. I installed our climbing wall and took down the ladder. I have sealed the coach, refinished the entire bathroom and kitchen sink, replaced the toilet, replaced wood and repaired our walls.
We have also replaced the carpet, replaced sub-flooring and laid new wood floors and trim.
We have a 10lb. Schnoodle. He is an ESA, so is trained and very well behaved. We call him the perfect gentleman.
BLM lands in Ponchas Pass, CO. One of the most beautiful nights we have shared.
Just outside of Laughlin, NV, we took the vanabus on a 4 wheelin adventure to Government Wash. We took some of the best night photos there, enjoyed a hike in the canyon and found a few, big lizards.
Did you know there are free hookups in North Kansas? We didn't until recently. One had a 50 amp hook up with water.
San Diego has a place right on the beach for another favorite of ours.
We have a 1973 GMC RV that looks like a stretched van. We are currently on a 90 day road trip west. No tow vehicles.
The vanabus crew was fun to host. Their cool looking old rv was fun to see. They stayed two nights due to six inches of snow that fell while they were here. They mostly hung out in the rv trying to keep warm. Their puppy is adorable. A pleasure to host.
These guys were great, I didn't even know they were here. If they reach out for a stay you won't have any regrets allowing them to stay. They are always welcome here if I'm home or not
Friendly couple with an adorable dog that stayed with us March 4th - March 6th, 2018.
Baked us some delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Always welcome at the ranch.
Intelligent, ambitious and respectful guests! Pleasure to have them here and would welcome them back!
