I live in northern New Mexico and operate a vintage travel trailer restoration business and vintage travel trailer rental business. With my business partner we also operate a mountain cafe which specializes in healthy and natural foods with a specialty in stone deck oven hand stretched pizza. I have a 7.5 acre tract of land about 1/4 miles from the cafe where you can camp. I specialize in 1950s and early 1960s Airstream restoration. I have several examples of trailer on the property for you to enjoy looking as along with a number of other vintage trailers.
Ask me anything about vintage Airstreams, Spartans. I've practiced architecture for a whole lot of years so feel free to pick my brain about building design :)
I have a very friendly black German Shepard who is 5 years old. I have a large dog run on the property and if your dog is friendly it will be welcomed to hang out with my guy who just loves company.
Well up here in the Santa Fe National Forest you can boondock on literally hundreds of miles of National Forest roads. It's quite amazing but not very easy on vintage trailers.
I'm from Los Angeles originally, Venice Beach actually. I spent a bunch of years in Washington, D.C. and now hang my hat in Jemez Springs/La Cueva New Mexico.
