Retired law enforcement officer keeping busy until wife says we can go full-time rving. If you stay with us, don't be suprised if we don't see you much, wife is gone about 12 hours M-F so when she get home likes to relax in the house, I work 3-4 days a week about 10-12 hours a day and when I get done I like to spend time with the cats. So its not that we are anti social, just getting through life until we can relax more.
Jack of all trades master of none.
6 inside cats. 1 stray, one shelter cat, a stray momma and 3 of her kids we could not find homes for. Have never traveled with them and now that we are back to 6 not sure when or if that will ever happen.
Born and raised in Appleton WI, moved to Seymour for a job and built a house. Wife is from Freedom WI.

Easy to find, even easy turns getting in. Very helpful hosts, quiet spot, 50 amp was awesome in the heat!
Would gladly stay again.
Mike's place was easy to find and was a nice place to spend a couple nights while working and exploring the Green Bay area.
It was very nice to have 30amp hookup to enjoy the air conditioning after a long day out.
We had a wonderful two night stay in Mike's driveway. We were able to use the electric hookup to run the A/C and felt very safe and comfortable. The spot to park was level concrete with room for our tow car to be parked in front of the RV. We spent the day in Green Bay, just a short drive away.
Thanks, Mike, for opening your driveway to your fellow rv'ers.
Very friendly and down to earth. Allowed us to hook up to his 30amp. Gave us a tour of his man cave. Massive storm was scheduled to come through and did offer us the basement shelter if it got to bad. Luckily the storm was mild but the consideration was greatly appreciated. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Hope to see you two out on the road someday.
We had a wonderful short stay. Lovely neighborhood and kind people. Highly recommend this stay!
We stayed at the Home of the Hamburger for 3 nights while we took in Shaweno Country (check it out) and Door county, both within reasonable proximity. We parked in the driveway which was level and well-lit and he has a beautiful yard.. Unfortunately, his wifi wasn't working when we were there but everythere else about our stay was very good. Mike is a fun and funny guy and really helped us out when one of our jacks failed. Thanks again Mike ! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
Thank you MikefromWi. Excellent instructions. Loved having electric hookup and level driveway. Amazing neighborhood we walked through to stretch our legs with views of beautifully manicured grounds. Hope to come back!
Convenient and easy to park. Spacious and quiet. Would come again.
We loved this location. The property was pristine!p Electricity was very easy to access. The host was very accommodating. This location is fairly close to Green Bay so we went to tour the Packers stadium which was awesome!
Great spot, easy to get to! Host is easy to communicate with, quick to respond. Convenient to a lot of area destinations. Highly recommended.
Thank you for such a great setup and being so welcoming. So glad we could spend time together.
Easy in and hookup to electricity. Hosts were very nice, enjoyed talking with them. They provided valuable local info. A nice place to stay.
Perfect boondocking! Level concrete slab, handy electrical. Enjoyed chatting with host. Great stay!
The property was easy in and out with our 45’ RV and level. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!
We give thanks for the wo derful stay for us and our 3 dogs. The dogs were allowed to run and have a good stay as well. Very positive overnight as we were just passing through.
We enjoyed our stay and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated their generosity. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and a very convenient location to town without being in the center of it. Tge town had anything we needed. It was also an easy drive into the city. Were very grateful to the hosts for allowing us to stay!
very nice, we went through a time zone change and arrived super early but the host didn't mind. Very quiet and peaceful
Easy drive in & out, even with a huge (44’) RV. Host was great helping us top-off our fresh water tank & it was so awesome to have a 50 Amp hook-up for the night. Wish the kittens had been born before we arrived!
Great property... my dog absolutely loved all the grass and even got to meet the neighbors dog To play fetch. The hosts were kind. I only met them after dinner briefly as they were leaving out of town to have repairs done on their RV but they still let me stay an extra night. Thank you for being so kind and generous.
We very much enjoyed this spot! Our hosts were very nice and welcoming. They both had work to do and we did as well so it worked out perfectly. The conversations we did have were enjoyable. They yard was beautiful and it was great to be able to run my dog there.
We are grateful that our hosts let us stay at their very nice property. It was super easy access and the parking spot was concrete and level. I have a big fifth wheel (around 40ft) so I backed in and it was easy to do so since their street is wide enough and the area doesn't have much traffic.
Great location to stay for a few days to check our Green Bay and Appleton! We didn’t see much of each other since everyone was working so much. The driveway is perfect and having the electric hook up was a great bonus. We wish them well and hope to see them down the road again!!
Great time. Had a relaxing stay at the home of the hamburger! The host was accommodating and nice and the location was perfect for us. We hope to be back and stay longer someday. Recommend.
If you get to stay, check out the local museum (check hours).
Appreciated having 50 amp so we could run both air conditioners as it got pretty warm. Also appreciated clean concrete slab driveway to park on. Be aware if you like to sit outside there is road noise. Thankful we had a place to stay over the Fourth of July weekend as campgrounds were full.
Our hosts gave us excellent directions to their lovely property. Our site was on concrete and easy to back onto. We were able to meet our hosts after dinner and they were a very nice couple. We only spent one night, but would love the chance to stay there again.
Stayed with these people going and coming! Did not even see them this time! Hopefully, next time. Good night.
Friendly pleasant couple and beautiful landscape and driveway.
Slept quiet and safe.
Very positve experience, thanks to BW and Webasto.
Great couple with beautiful property and plenty of room. Friendly and gracious. Thanks so much!
Nice hosts. Paved driveway close to Green Bay. Highly recommend
Stayed for 2 nights. Plenty of room to back in, 20/30/50 amp to hook up into. Host was pretty busy (as we were) but we had a great chat on the morning we pulled out. Didn’t expect to get to spend a little time with him but grateful I did. Enjoyable to talk to.
Great location. Going to check out the Hamburger Museum- only $5 for the family. Don’s Quality Foods is a good grocery store only 5 minutes away. Would stay again.
Thanks for the hospitality!
We overnighted here and we were met very kindly by the lady of the house. A nice property in a calm rural area not to far from Green Bay.
I enjoyed stay. Quiet home with big driveway. I met couple and they are great. Quiet streets and close to Seymore but not so far from Green Bay.
Great place in the country yet close to Green Bay. Our hosts were very accommodating and the 50 amp power was truly appreciated as we were here when it was pretty warm. Great experience.
This is a great site for our visit to the Seymour/Appleton area. We needed to “sneak” in to the area to surprise my sister for her 75th birthday and it worked out great! Thanks to mikefromwi for hosting us. Sorry we had to leave early due to issues with our rig, but hope to return again sometime. We really appreciated the 50 amp electric and the fresh water top up from Mike’s treated water supply. Thanks Again!
This was a nice level spot in a spacious driveway. We enjoyed walks and bike rides in the neighborhood. We liked the small town as well. We didn't get the opportunity to know our hosts due to our stay being in the middle of the work week. They did offer some history of the town and directed us to a local grocery store and laundromat (it wound up being closed though). We loved that we were so close to Green Bay and found some fun things to do there also.
If you plan on fishing in the stock pond, be sure to have your WI fishing license.
Great property to sight-see from. The greatest benefit was the host supplied us with a 30 amp plugin. Hosts were busy with their schedules so we did not get to spend much time getting to know them. Also a great yard for our dog and hard surface to park on. Couldn't ask for more!
Lots of paved space for our 5th wheel and lush grass for our pup. Extra bonus of having 30 amp and water available. And the stay was topped off with a delicious meal our hosts shared with us. Enjoyed our stay!
