Thanks Jim for all your local knowledge and a great spot to stay for our family. Was great to check out the local area. We had a very pleasant stay.
An amiable host and a lovely yard make this a great spot for overnighting on your way up or down Florida's west coast. We stayed Jan. 12.

As overseas visitors we were especially grateful to DownRiver for the time he spent with us to show us the local area, especially the bar, Christmas house and restaurants. Excellent parking area. He was very helpful with our onward trip planning from his extensive travel knowledge. We had the best time, thankyou !
My wife and I enjoyed the conversations with our host, who was very knowledgable and hospitable. The site was beautiful and quiet, with a view of a small pond containing fish and turtles. This was one of our top ten places we stayed!!!
Very great host and friendly. We stay two nights and enjoyed our stay.
Thank you DownRiver.
Our host was very welcoming and allowed us to use a 110 electrical extension cord to run our fan and coffee pot. We were able to fit our 20-foot trailer into his location without a problem. Very quick response to our emails. Thanks for everything.
DownRiver was a wonderful host. We got to know him and consider him a new freind. We really hope to meet him again some day. His site was great and the area is well worth the visit.
Our host was wonderful and very helpful concerning the area. We truly consider him a new friend and hopefully see him again in the near future. Sending a heartfelt thank you.
DownRiver was very helpful and accomodating. Recommended some good restaurants and local attractions. Hope we can host him in the near future.
This was our first boondooker experience and it exceeded our expectation.
Jim is a real gentlemen and great host
We recently stayed on Jim's property for 3 nights. He had another couple parked by his house, so he set us up at a second spot. We had a level, paved pad and power. Jim provided us with maps and directed us to area attractions that we might be interested in. We biked and walked, bought seafood, and saw a bit of the residential area. He even had us over to his place one evening, so we could meet the other boondockers, and we could all share travel stories. It was an interesting, comfortable stop.
We recently stayed with DownRiver while touring Florida. He is a hospitable and knowledegable host. We had a nice concrete pad to park on and he gave us information on local attractions. We enjoyed our visit with him very much.
Our host at downriver was very accommodating and informative. He helped us plan our visit to the area and made us feel at home . He had a wonderful place to park for smaller or full sized RV s. A great positive experience.
Downriver has a BEAUTIFUL, peaceful place by a nice little lake. Since his retirement,he travelled all over USA and he recommended us many beautiful place to visit from Homosassa to Utah, where we are going. A real gentlemen who knows the in and out of being on the road.
Very good host even though his wife had died very recently.
We enjoyed two nights on this lovely property parked by a peaceful pond graced with active wildlife. Our hosts shared morning coffee with us and went out of their way to produce maps and even toured us around to show us all the must sees, free parking, kayak launch sites, and best restaurants in Homossasa. We could never have discovered so much in one day on our own. They have traveled extensively and offered lots of helpful information for our future travels. Thank you so much!
