I work in tech here in tech-land, which means sitting at a computer a LOT. This seems like a great way to meet new and interesting people and get my face away from computers for a little minute. Happy to give you the locals insider scoops, the more interesting locales, and the “don’t even go there” tourist traps when hosting, and would much appreciate the same when traveling.
I will be the most AMAZING asset during/after the zombie apocalypse: I can garden, store seeds, do canning, raise livestock, cure/age/smoke/dry anything for preservation, and I make the best apricot preserves. Also, I can probably fix what’s ailing your computer.
I have a kitty. Her name is Bug, because she’s a cuddle bug. She is used to our home on wheels, and isn’t an outdoor cat, so you can choose to meet her or not.
I hang my hat in Silicon Valley when not in my home on wheels.
We've rarely met people who care as much about others. We were in a stressful situation and Michelle relieved a TON of stress.
If there's an "honor roll" for hosts, she should be at the top of the list.
