We're a recently retired couple who enjoy travelling with our two pups, Sterling and Archer, in our motorhome. We spent the last 25 years camping and rv-ing close to home in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains. In our retirement, we hope to visit every province, territory, and state in North America. John completed his working years as an owner / operator of a small engine sales and service shop. Prior to that he was a manager in municipal government. I spent my career as a systems analyst in information technology.
We have done a lot of rv-ing over the years and can share our experience with you. Both practical tips and where to stay. We've travelled extensively through southern Alberta, the Canadian Rocky Mountain national parks (Banff, Jasper, Waterton, Yoho, and Kootenay). We're very familiar with southern BC and Vancouver Island, and Montana. We've travelled across Canada, most of the pacific coast, and have visited almost every state west of the Mississippi River.
Yes! Our two silver miniature poodles travel with us.
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
We have a 28' Triple E Regency motor home and a 10' Wrangler Jeep.
Made some good friends here, welcome back anytime, oh and make sure your here by 11am ;)
Great to visit with fellow travelers. Hope to see them again. Quiet and easy to please.... Dogs were very well behaved.
Quiet, well mannered and stayed on their leashes.... John and Carrie were great too! Enjoyed giving them the tour of the place. A hot cup of tea (whoops no milk) and some good conversation on a rainy day, nothing better....
John_and_Carrie, Sterling and Archer, (just to funny) arrived at a great time, over a glass of wine we had some conversations about their trips, fantastic very friendly folks, and their dogs are very friendly, they are Welcome Back Anytime. Hopefully next time we can offer better/warmer weather (they woke up to snow). And the trip for Pizza was awesome. ;)
