We have both recently retired and are ready to start traveling the US and Canada in cur small class C Motor home that we've affectionately named the Jam It Inn. We are members and activity leaders of the Florida trail Association(a hiking club). We enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing and camping and being out in nature.
We love to share our travel experiences. We can recommend nice local hiking trails or beautiful paddling trips on our local rivers.
We no longer have any pets. :(
We live just outside of Eustis Florida. About an hour North of Disney.
We have a 22 foot class C Motor home with one slide out. We tow a Honda CRV behind it.
This was a delightful couple who gladly shared their knowledge from their travels with us. They were great guests, and we enjoyed having them. Thank you again for the great gifts and the lovely tomatoes! The tomatoes were gone by dinner (surely you couldn't tell who ate them ;) )
Wonderful guests, we had a great visit! They are welcome anytime !
We had a great pot of homemade stew ! Yummy 😋
Very short stay. Loved watching you enjoy our sunset. Come back so we can get to know you more! Happy hour would be fun.
K and D are welcome to stop over anytime... they were a treat to meet. Boondockers Welcome is such a great idea that's come to enhance so many vacations for so many wonderful folks... like K and D. Safe travels...
Been & Diane were easy to have around, wish they could have stayed longer. We met at the Big Lake Post Office and I guided them to the lakeside camping spot.
Hope to see them again, nice folks.
Good coordination and communication on visit as we had to adapt to a few unexpected issues. Worked out fine though.
A lovely, friendly couple taking a pretty cool cross North American tour. Very keen on the local sights. Knowledgeable of and willing to share information on RV’s and towing cars.
This was our first time hosting anyone from Boondockers .What a nice experience you could not ask for a nicer couple great stories and lots of tips for our future travels .hope to see them again
It was a cold, windy evening when they pulled in but had a good conversation and enjoyed meeting these folks. Easy to accommodate their unit and tow car.
Although, a short overnight stay, we found our guests to be very friendly. We wished that they could have stayed longer so we could have gotten to know them better. Quiet and respectful. We would gladly host them again.
Great guests, polite, respectful and fun to be with, we enjoyed a lovely evening! They are welcome anytime.
Short stay, but enjoyable. They even cooked dinner outside. Very pleasant company.
Very nice folks, enjoyed talking to them, very respectful of my site, left everything just as when they came. We would welcome them back anytime
Very friendly fantastic hosts. We have a lot in common as we both like to hike, kayak, photography and my husband's favorite golf. Shared lots of stories, hikes, kayaking and of course golf.Very knowledgeable about the area and what to see and do. Not enough time to do everything that there is to offer in this area. They even supply a welcome kit with brochures of the area for you to borrow. Many conversations were had when we could share our dinners. We have made new friends. Hope our paths will cross again. Thank you for bring such fantastic hosts and hopefully our paths will cross on our trip this summer. Adios until we meet again. Virginia and Bob
Thanks so much for the pleasant diversion! We were in the process of transferring to a new motorhome and needed to stay near the dealer. With preparation chores to complete, and a little time to kill, Ken & Diane were very accommodating, giving us the space and time to complete our chores, while also allowing us the time to enjoy the area.
Diane even helped us drop our vehicle at the end point so we could enjoy an afternoon hike...
We had planned a return visit, however we had to cancel.
Looking forward to a return, and the opportunity to have them share hiking, and kayak experiences with them.

We sure had a wonderful time with our hosts. Memories were made, as they invited us to a hike event & a paddle event they shared with us. Thank you !
Our hosts were there to greet us upon our arrival and even invited us to join them on a hike in a nearby nature preserve. The hike through a palm forest to a gorgeous cypress/mangrove lake was just perfect! We really appreciated their generous hospitality and helpful info regarding area attractions. Great spot! Will definitely return if near our route again!
Great hosts and a wonderful spot to stop for a night or two. Our hosts were very nice and accommodating, especially with some nasty weather coming through during our stay. The morning we were supposed to leave, a tornado watch was in effect. They offered shelter and the option to stay another night if needed. Luckily, all was fine and we were able to roll out without any issues. Our only issue was limited cell service (Verizon and Sprint). We would definitely stay again! :)
We really enjoyed our stay at this site.
The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them a great deal.
Local hiking was great and we would love to come back if in the area again.
These hosts are great. Full of great RV tips and helped me get some of them on my rig. Took me to meet their neighbor so I could visit ab music jams.
Wonderful time. 🌸👍🌸
We had a great stay with Ken and Diane. They were very flexible to some changes I had to make. We had a nice time chatting in the little time we were around. Their space was nestled in a nice wooded section. I would highly recommend it
Ken & Diane are very knowledgeable on RVing and Boondocking.
They have a nice spot that can accommodate larger rigs and great well water.
Wee really enjoyed our conversations and their nice quiet spot.
Hubby and I stayed for one night. Had a wonderful time and felt right at home. We would recommend this couple highly and glad we met. Easy location to get in and out of even with our 40 ft 5th wheel.
Ken and Diane are simply amazing. They helped us with just about everything, for us "1st-timers" they made it seem simple to do. The circular drive was nice as we didn't have to back up very far upon arrival or when we left. Their place is located close to stores, and yet so quiet. The directions they gave were clear when directing us to a dump site in an RV park. They invited us to sit with them on the back porch, (we were too exhausted), The road that leads to their house is a dead end, paved and was easy for the short walking of my dog. We needed an extra water hose so they let us borrow one of theirs. Ken is very handy when it comes to making things to store other things, for instance they showed us a clothes line that fits on the back of their bicycle carrier, and a ladder that folds and fits into a small square pvc pipe on the back of the camper. Other storage ideas, what to look out for, where some good places are to boondock, and shared other phone apps with us. We will certainly come back (if they are there from their next adventure). So until we meet again, may the road be straight, your ride be smooth, and the sun always shine on your journeys. Thanks again, guys your were great.

We were Ken & Diane’s first guests & they were exceptional, friendly hosts! They provided a level, shaded spot with water that is conveniently located w/in 5 miles of groceries & gas. We enjoyed sharing RV info & tips and getting to know the, and would love to spend more time with them if we ever have the opportunity in the future!
