Teardrop sized camper. 4 foot x 8 foot box. Towing with a Ford Focus.
These folks are always welcome and when schedules permit we have a great visit. Come back anytime.
We hosted for one night. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet him as I was out when he arrived, my husband did meet him however. Quiet guest and is welcome back anytime !
If we can ever be of help just give us a yell, thanks for the advice regarding the Deming Lot.
Wonderfully fascinating people. Charles is an incredible history buff. Talked for hours. They even paid for dinner at a local restaurant. What a nice evening.
Charles and Anne were very kind and friendly. They called in advance to let us know when they were arriving. Due to a personal tight schedule, I was in bed when they arrived and they were very quiet.
I left very early in the morning but got to say goodbye to them as they were packing up.
I wish we could have chatted longer! Maybe I will see you in Maine!!
Interesting discussion with Charles and Ann. Especially, enjoyed Civil War discussions and learning of their participation in re-enacting. They are welcome back anytime.
Wonderful guests. Quietly came and went. I wish we had been able to spend more time getting to know each other. They are always welcome to return any time!
I share a gravel driveway with my neighbor. If you pass my place and go to the back to his heavy equipment area, he has a sign posted which reads "If you can read this, you are within range". This can easily be a bit discouraging to some which is quite understandable. The sign is there to mainly scare potential thieves.
Only got to meet them for a few minutes when they first got here due to my work schedule. Very nice couple. They are welcome back anytime.
Super Nice host. Enjoyed 2 overnighting here. I recomnand this host.
Just like seeing old friends. Great stories and conversations. Good food and sight seeing suggestions. Small spot in driveway was just right for us.
Charles & Ann are wonderful hosts & their location was within blocks of the Maine Capital Statehouse.
My following comment is NOT meant to be negative toward them or their location.
But unfortunately my 20 yr old motorhome does not have levelers & the street has to much slope for boards & my comfort. So I apologized to Charles & Ann & moved on before my scheduled departure date.
Thank you Charles & Ann for inviting me.
Charles and Ann were very nice. They gave us alot of info for places to see. Very close to downtown and a rail trail that we rode to 2 cute towns. They met us in the evening for music and wine. Lots to do. The only downfall was leveling our RV. Took a long time with blocks and even then not quite level. Charles and Ann were lovely so if you are in the area I would recommend staying there but be prepared for leveling.
Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. They stood out in the rain to make sure we were settled. Would stay there again.
Nice quiet place to park, and good folks to sit and have a cup of coffee with and chat with
Maine is just beautiful, and C&A made our time here very enjoyable. They treated us like family from the minute we got here, and we got a glimpse I to their lives and world. You will meet some really nice, hospitable people if you decide to drop in. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.
This was a really nice spot to stay for a few nights while seeing Maine - thank you for the hospitality! The hosts were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable, even offering us their shower. Our dog loved playing in the yard. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
