We are Andrew and Laura. We are both retired though we still do some contract work to pass the time. We love home be it in La Mesa N.M. or on the road.
Andrew is a handyman with a moderate level of RV repair experience. We know a lot about hiking and travel in New Mexico.
2 cats and a rescue dog named Buddy. They travel with us.
Way too many to list.
La Mesa N.M. A really nice spot high up on the mesa with a great view of the Organ Mtns and the Franklin mtns.
2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor.
I had a fun time hosting Andy, Laura, their wonderful dog Buddy and their two cats. Their stay was too short. I hope to see them come through town again someday.
Andy and Laura were the penultimate, generous hosts. They were exceptionally welcoming, and Andy has an unbounded knowledge of the local cultural, business, and historical elements around the area. Their property is so quiet! Do not be discouraged by the lefts and rights your GPS is going to ask you to make. The property is outside of Las Cruces by maybe 15 miles. But, it is located in the most beautiful pecan-growing countryside we have encountered.
We look forward to another trip where we can spend more time exchanging stories about our combined life experiences. You will enjoy learning about Andy's passion for entrepreneurship and the range of business experiences comprising his background.
Very friendly hosts, it was like visiting with old friends. We shared dinner and company and enjoyed a quiet night filled with stars.
We had so much fun with Andy and Laura. Andy has enough stories and advice to keep you entertained for a lifetime, and Laura is so sweet and easy to talk to. We got the full New Mexico experience, complete with road runners, bunnies, giant rabbits, red chili chicken, homemade ribs, and desert exploration. And the view of the mountains is incredible! This couple is both hilarious and hospitable, and we would love to stay with them again in the future. They went from boondocking hosts to friends in such a short amount of time. Don’t pass this place up!
We're not too sure about the cats but Andy, Laura & Buddy are among the most friendly critters we've met in the USA. We arrived as strangers but parted as friends. From the first hug when we arrived both Andy & Laura made us feel right at home. Andy especially is full of life and the four of us had plenty to discuss. They are full of travel tips. Don't miss City of Rocks SP. We hope that we can meet up again ... Andy, Australia is not that far. Thanks again for the hospitality.
