We are an easy going couple from Michigan. Bob retired from his job as an electrician and Elaine retired from an administrative assistant position. Several years ago we moved to our "cottage" where we enjoy boating, kayaking, biking and visits from our children and grandchildren as well as hosting friends and relatives. Bob is passionate about table tennis and pickleball and looks for opportunities to play where ever we go. Over the years we have vacationed in the United States, Nova Scotia, and Europe. Florida has been our winter escape from the cold, and we have fond memories of the places we rented, especially the week we spent on a 40’ sailboat. After purchasing our motorhome, we embarked on a month long road trip to California and now are enjoying more wonderful adventures.
Bob is a licensed electrician and quite the handyman. Elaine enjoys people and planning new adventures. We both look for opportunities to experience travel in a more up close and personal way.
Our family always included dogs and cats. Eventhough we wanted to be pet free after retirement, we fell in love with and rescued a little 12 lb. wirehaired dachshund mix in 2017. “Roxie” the Doxie is one of the reasons we decided to purchase our motorhome, and she loves traveling with us.
We feel very blessed to be able to live near Traverse City surrounded by cherry orchards and near quaint villages and many beautiful lakes!

A very delightful couple. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Enjoyed hearing about their local and events. Another area to put on our traveling bucket list!
Thoroughly enjoyed our small amount of time together. They are welcome back anytime!
Hard to come up with something different to,say about the people we have hosted . Every one we have hosted have been very interesting and so nice. RoamNpawz was no exception we didnt get to visit to long as they had traveled a,good distance yesterday. What time we did spend with them was very pleasant. Will be very happy to host them if they travel, this way again.
We had just joined the group when the next day got to host and ill tell you we are hooked. Meeting good people like this was joyful.
We hosted this great couple a few days ago. We had great communication from them prior to the stay and they were a pleasure to have on our site. They are on a great adventure and we wish them safe travels and they are definitely welcome to return if their travels bring them back this way.
Candice and Darrell
Elaine and Bob arrived a little late due to bike rack problems, but they stayed an extra day so we had time to socialize with them on our dock and patio. We very much enjoyed getting to know them and hope to visit Michigan and stay at their place some day. They were great guests and are welcome back any time.
Lovely people, Bob even repaired a light switch that was malfunctioning on us. What a lifesaver that was on a weekend. We had a great time.
It's a shame we didn't have an opportunity to spend more time with them. However, we squeezed them in for a night while we are trying to sell our house. They're wonderful folks who we'd love to host again (if our house doesn't sell!).
