I am a retired teacher and my hubby is a retired firefighter and a recreational pilot.
We live on a beautiful little lake in Muskoka Ontario.
We love to travel and our little labradoodle accompanies us in our Class C Motorhome.
We have driven across Canada, toured Haida Gwaii and Gwaii Haanas, traveled to the Carolinas, driven the Blueridge Parkway, spent time in the Adirondacks and last summer visited the Maritimes and Newfoundland.
We love meeting new people and exploring new and interesting places!
I love the outdoors, hiking and photography.
My hubby is a recreational pilot, snowmobiler and handyman - and can fix just about anything.
We enjoy kayaking in the summer and X-country skiing in the winter.
Jazmine, our little labradoodle is a wonderful traveler. She loves to go where we go.
We've only had our "Skinnie Winnie" for a couple of years - and have not done much boon docking - other than the occasional rest area enroute.
We live outside of Huntsville Ontario on a small lake. Huntsville is part of an area known as Muskoka, beautiful cottage country and land of lakes, forests and rock. it is an all season location, and a very popular tourist destination. Algonquin Provincial Park is about a 40 minute drive away, where you can often view moose, bears and other wildlife. The Group of Seven Painters are famous for their depictions off Muskoka - especially Tom Thomson.
Winnebago View referred to as a 'Skinnie Minnie".
They eere very friendly neat and clean, glad we got to meet them and glad I was able to help. Hope see them again. We had a lot in common.
Our Ontario guests were very friendly & well organized, they are a prime example of perfect guests. We will welcome Ellen and her fire fighter back anytime.
PS…loved their dog Jazmine!
The host was there to welcome us and treated us to a boat tour of the lake.
His wife arrived home in time for a shared glass of wine/cup of tea before we settled in for a very peaceful night on their property. Nice folks !
