Sharon, a retired school teacher, and Todd a retired funeral director and contractor: both enjoy hosting house concerts, biking, hiking and traveling when they can. Their home sits on 26 secluded acres with a small pond in front of the house. This is the perfect getaway for anyone traveling.
Todd has hiked the 58 mile KT (Knobstone Trail) and can provide details about current trail conditions. Knowlege of Louisville, Ky and popular places to visit.
No, but you may bring them, just clean up.
We are traveling in a Travato 59K, VAN. Will fit in a regular parking space. Do not need hook-ups but elect in the summer would be a bonus.
Besides being fellow Hoosiers & Boondocker hosts they are also veteran rv’ers with a lot of miles under their wheels. Enjoyed their stay with us and the conversations that could have gone on for days, one conversation would spark another. We did get enlightened about “house concerts” which was new to us.
This was our 2nd time "boondocking" . . . . . We were greeted the moment we arrived. They helped my husband back the trailer into the camping spot for the night. Their place was beautiful. They were wonderful hosts and invited us to an outdoor fire, chili dogs, mac n cheese and s'mores. We had a great time. Thanks you for being such great hosts and hopefully our paths will meet again!
Sharon and Todd are really nice down home couple with a beautiful property. I stayed only 1 night no problems and Sharon made me a bagel with egg and cheese sandwich to go with coffee, very sweet thanks guys.
SharonandToddStewart were very hospitable and accommodating during our stay. Their site for hosting is a little slice of heaven! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our evening visiting with the hosts. We would love to come back, and, you are more than welcome to stay with us when you are back up north! Mark and Teresa
We cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Todd and Sharon. They welcomed us and our two kids with open arms. All their facilities exceeded our expectations and we took a swim in the pond and shared a special dinner together. Their home is beautiful and close to sights to see and experience. Our trip was memorable and a time our family continues to talk about as a highlight of our trip.
