I am an Auctioneer ( we never actually retire). My wife and I live in a small town called Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, a 45 min. ferry ride from Vancouver Canada. We are Snowbirds and like to RV in California for the winter months.
We got caught up in the Pickel Ball craze and play in tournaments in Canada and USA and we have a great time traveling and playing.
Mr. fix it. Announcer at events. Amazing cook (not me, Pauline)
We have a small Morkie very friendly, he loves everyone, not much of a barker.
We travel around between Vancouver Canada and Southern California and open to exploring all over. All locations are great, can’t pick one better then the other.
We live in Sechelt, BC. Canada, a short ferry ride from Vancouver
We are travelling in our 37ft Grand Disign Reflection 5th wheel with 4 slides, towing with a 2008 Ford F-350 Crew Cab.
We were very pleased to be able to host this couple and their adorable pup. On their way home for the summer; hope the trip went well. Please stop by again next time you are passing our area. Thanks! :)
Met up with Navigators again on return visit. So nice to see them again. Showed me some tips on our older RV we just got. Look forward to their return.
Although we only had a short time to visit we could not ask for nicer guests. We hope you can return on your way north for a longer stay. Welcome anytime and hopefully we can visit your place in the future. Safe and warm travels.
Hugs to Riley too!
It was a pleasure to host these fine people. Sorry we didn’t have more time to visit a bit more. Welcome back here anytime.
We enjoyed chatting and hanging out with these folks. They joined in with our community at pickleball and were very self sufficient. We would be happy to host them again.
You are welcome anytime. Just stop in and camp. Good luck with your search. Hope the weather gets a bit better for you. We will look you up if we get out your way. Safe travels
An unbelievably quiet street. Owners weren't there but we were able to communicate on the phone. Just needed a place for the night and I left at 7 a.m. Really appreciated their willingness to accommodate my needs. Thanks
Super welcoming Host/Hostess,
Quietest night camping in our entire 6 mos of camping experience.
Extensive gorgeous views from all around the neighborhood.
Sweet little lit tree in front yard and a full moon made the entire holiday weekend a bit magical feeling.
We will be back, thank you both!
We enjoyed our stay with the Navigator! We had a warm welcome and our host shared lots of info about the area. The spot is very quiet and a nice walk downhill to the beach and pier. Highly recommended! Many thanks!
This was our first experience staying with a Boondocker Host and I can't stop telling friends about what a wonderful experience it was. We stayed 3 nights and each night the host would check if we had everything we needed. This is certainly a different type of boondocking than what I have experienced in the past. I highly recommend that people visit the Sunshine coast in British Colunbia and don't miss staying at the Gamekeepers Cottage.
We were warmly welcomed by the host (and their dog) and had a nice stay and friendly chat. They’ve well prepared the spot and offer all amenities. Thanks guys and may be see you again.
Wayne was very helpful with everything we needed in the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Thanks
We stayed one night with the host. Really great hosts, providing water, power and WiFi.
Just what we needed, being a place to stay the night with access to Water, WiFi. :-)
Very accomodating and welcoming, especially given our last minute plans! We really enjoyed Gibsons and are still exploring the coast. We discovered that the ferry cost for the ride over is round trip. Maybe that will encourage some folks to visit the Sunshine Coast. Lots of sun so far! :)
We really appreciated this fantastic, quiet spot for our passage through the area. We enjoyed chatting with our host, sharing travel stories and learning about the region. His set up is A1 for water and electric hookup! Many thanks Navigator!
