I am an Auctioneer ( we never actually retire). My wife and I live in a small town called Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, a 45 min. ferry ride from Vancouver Canada. We are Snowbirds and own a home in Palm Springs but like to RV.
We got caught up in the Pickel Ball craze and play in tournaments in Canada and USA and we have a great time traveling and playing.
We also have a collector car, a 1956 Mercury 2dr HT and like doing car shows but stay mostly in the Vancouver area.
Mr. fix it. Announcer at events. Amazing cook (not me, Pauline)
We travel around between Vancouver Canada and Southern California and open to exploring all over.
We buy and sell RV units at our home so we could be using almost anything.
Just what we needed, being a place to stay the night with access to Water, WiFi. :-)
Very accomodating and welcoming, especially given our last minute plans! We really enjoyed Gibsons and are still exploring the coast. We discovered that the ferry cost for the ride over is round trip. Maybe that will encourage some folks to visit the Sunshine Coast. Lots of sun so far! :)
