JMilligan44 was a perfect stop for us as we passed through. Nice large driveway to park our large rig. JMilligan was very friendly and accomodating . Thanks for the stay.
Jerry called us to give us dirmorniections for electric as was not home when we were to arrive. Called later t be sure we were ok. Met with us in the morning for a short visit before we left. Hope to visit again next year. Thanks, Lois, Paul and Lille
Though their regular electric hookup is 50 amp, they switched it over to 30 amp for me before I arrived. They waited for me to get there before attending a family event, and even invited me along! How nice was that? I couldn’t go, but it was really sweet. We got to talk a little in the morning before I had to get back on the road, and they invited me back. Such sweet people!
This is just the place we needed! A nice quiet place for a good night's sleep. The hosts were welcoming and we enjoyed our short visit with them. We will definitely stop by again when we're in the area.
Wow, what a great experience. We really did feel like we were just stopping by to see friends. That's how quickly we were made to feel at home. Great spot to pull in for the night and ended up being invited to stay an extra night. Our hosts have great information about what to see in the area. Just downright good people!
We were very happy to spend the night at your home. it is a very nice and quiet area. We would liked to meet you too. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your absence, and offered us water and electricity, very appreciated! We met Basile, the friendly neighbor, who gave us some tasty apples, and also the neighbor's dog, just adorable! If we come back one day, be sure that we will come to meet you!
Jerry and Pat were very welcoming and we had a nice (although brief( visit when we arrived. They're only minutes from the Bass Pro Shop Museum in Springfield so we spent the afternoon and early evening there. Their retreat in the country was super quiet and we appreciated that after spending the previous night at Cracker Barrel by the freeway. They welcomed us to stop again and we will do that next time we find ourselves in the Springfield area
Two brilliant, beautiful souls sharing their own little piece of paradise. Kinder people you will not ever meet. If they had a circus we would run away and join it! =)
J and P greeted us when we arrived and even though they had a big family event going on they took time to make sure we were settled and gave excellent advice on what to do in the area.
The site is surrounded by pastoral views and quiet country. Within 15 minutes you can go to the "beach", view a zoo, make memories in a brewery, be assaulted by rolls (we missed that one), and visit the most amazing, Disneyesque, Bass Pro Shops on the planet. Point is it's peaceful where you park but you are in the middle of it all.
Charming, entertaining, and delightful people. We miss them already. If you are within a 3 day drive of Springfield, you might strongly consider requesting a stay with J and P.
Had a great night at the Milligans’. Very personable , lovely couple, so helpful! Even let me ride along to the grocery store. I really appreciated your hospitality and enjoyed meeting you both!
Boy, after a long day of travel, it was fantastic to be able to stay with Jerry at his home-just off the highway, too. He welcomed us when we arrived and offered electricity and water. After a cheerful chat about the RV life we turned in for a grand night of sleep. Thank you so much!!!! Have fun downsizing your RV for an abundance of future adventures!
