Just purchased a Winnebago motorhome in 2017 to begin traveling the U.S.A. and Canada part time until we can fully retire. We desire to "pay it forward" and to meet new people to learn more about full time RV living.
We are quite familiar with many of the State's attractions: Mystic Seaport and Aquarium, State Parks and Beaches, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, Yale University, Bearsley Zoo, State Capitol and Statehouse, Homesteads of Mark Twain, Nathan Hale, William Gillette.
No pets at this time but pets are welcome!

This was there second time staying, first time I actually met them. Very nice couple, welcome back anytime.
Wonderful couple and a enjoyable experience. Loved hearing and sharing travel stories. Realized we had a lot in common. Every experience thus far has been beyond our expectations. We love sharing our home with fellow travelers. We've met some interesting and wonderful people in our travels, this experience was no exception.
It was great to meet Robert and Carey! Great folks, and it was our pleasure to host them even for just a short stay. Safe motoring and hopefully we will meet up again soon!
They arrived after dinner and a lot of rain but they got hooked up okay and we had a short chat. Really nice folks. We had a nice visit in the morning before they left and were able to give Carey a little bit of a dog fix with my two who seemed to really like her and Robert. I invited them back again anytime, hopefully for a longer visit next time.
We had a very nice time with Robert and Carey .Lin an I got to spend an evening share some Pie and talk over some of our experience in life and in travels..Great time ,are Welcome any time..
It was a pleasure to host Robert and Carey and certainly hope to see them again sometime. We enjoyed talking with them and sharing our "camping " stories !!
The intense late summer heat cut their visit short but I think they enjoyed biking the Farmington Valley Tail Trail! Welcome again anytime! Come back for the spectacular fall foliage!
Connecticut2017 were a pleasure to host. We shared stories of our journeys and hope to meet up with them again in the future.
What an awesome couple. Robert immediately connected with me when he offered us some coffee cake day one. Kerry held a great conversation with my wife about their travels and welcomed us to visit them in the near future. We can’t wait to travel to their home soon.
Thanks for stopping by. We thoroughly enjoyed your visit. Lots of laughs, conversations and interesting topics. Hope you swing by this way again. Thanks for the Groupon. Safe travels.
They were so friendly and down to earth and I felt like I had known them longer than just a few hours. We had a lovely visit and they were gracious and appreciative. I would welcome them back anytime!
Newbee's on their first Boondock we had a great time talking RVing.
Cant say enough about the generosity and fellowship we received here. Only hope is to host them at our location and share some more stories about great adventures. Thank you again until we meet again.
After a long drive in the rain the host was there to greet us with a power cord when we arrived. We talked about RV stuff as we shared pizza together. Nice peaceful and quiet location. Very warm and welcoming hosts. Definitely recommend!
We had a really rough week and missed our initial reservation due to a broken axel... luckily, they were willing and able to host us a couple days later. But the hosts really went above and beyond to ensure we got settled and even invited us to dinner - which was a huge help - just not having to worry about dinner after a stressful couple days - and it was DELISH! We had a great stay - very appreciative for this host!!
Very nice couple. Robert a bit ill. Carey handled all details....including loan of a better sunshade than I had!
Appreciated water and 15A. Quiet😊
Our hosts were gracious, helpful, flexible and kind. Their home is located in a beautiful and peaceful part of Connecticut that we feel lucky to have visited.
A perfect spot for exploring the Capital and surrounding areas. Our hosts did a wonderful job of making our stay comfortable, as well as providing stimulating conversation. A great spot indeed!
Great hosts. We ended up not being able to stay with these great folks because 15 minutes away we had a mechanical break down when we lost our brake lines. They invited us to come to their home for dinner which we graciously accepted. It was our pleasure to meet them and their family and hope to see them again one day soon. Thank you again for your hospitality. Susie and Matt
