I am a retired teacher travelling solo with my little Shi-poo dog. I'm 72 and Bitzy, my little dog is almost 16 years. We travel together in our 2002 Roadtrek. As of 2019, we are fulltimers.
Winters are usually spent in Arizona, California and Nevada and summers back in Ontario and traveling other parts of Canada.
I have three children now in their 40s and 9 grandchildren. They range in age from 1 to 21.
My parents used to travel all over North America in their day and I inherited the travel bug. They are both gone now and when my inheritance money came in, I bought a used 2002 Class B Roadtrek which was better suited to my way of travel. I consider it to be carrying on the legacy. They would have loved it. Adventure awaits.

Skills & Expertise to Share

I'm a retired teacher. I supposed that would involve numerous skills. I have been known to have a flair for the computer and some video production.

BevOnTheRoad's Pets

I have a dog named Bitzy. She was a rescue Shi-Poo, and is 16 years now. She loves to be on the road.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Give me the mountains, the desert or a spot by the water. I love them all. Not a big fan of large cities, but small towns are okay. My home is where my wheels are.
December to May finds me boondocking in the SW, mainly Arizona. I usually swing past Florida to see friends on my way back to Ontario for the summer/fall months. If not travelling, I'm boondocking in family and friends' driveways.

BevOnTheRoad's Hometown

I did live in Owen Sound, Ontario by the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay until I went fulltime. My mailing address is now at my son's place in London Onrario.......and I can sometimes be found there.

Nice visit!

Enjoyed meeting Bev and her little dog and hearing of her on-the-road and other adventures. Friendly and easy-going. Great that she is willing and able to get out and about and wishing her happy traveling!
