We have been fulltiming since 2016. I'm retired military. Kerry, my girlfriend, is taking some time off from work before pursuing a degree in veterinary nursing. We enjoy travelling the country, seeing amazing sights and meeting the most friendly people. We are not big partiers - I'm a light social drinker and Kerry is a non-drinker. Neither of us are smokers.
I'm somewhat computer savvy and have been known to turn a wrench or two. Kerry is an excellent writer with a background in animal management and zoo-keeping.
No (but Kerry keeps trying to change that).
Too many to mention. Some of the spots that come to mind are Newfound Gap in the Smokies, Forest Service land near Bryce Canyon, numerous spots in the Southwest, UP of Michigan and the Pacific Northwest.
I'm a native Floridian and Kerry is from England.
1997 Blue Bird Wanderlodge with no slides. Our coach has a liftable tag axle allowing for maneuvering in tight spaces. Although we love 50A service we can live with 30A and will survive on 20A. Having access to water/sewer hookups is great but we can easily manage three days without water/sewer hookups as our coach has a 100 gallon freshwater tank and two 69 gallon tanks for gray and black water. Please note, we do not have to run our generator unless there isn't power available. (We hope to add solar panels in the near future) Our toad is a 2005 Jeep Liberty 4x4 with two bicycles on the back.
Kevin and Kerry are welcome back anytime, they are perfect guests.
Sadly the weather here in Florida was miserable during their visit, but I am looking forward to their return when hopefully the weather will be better. They are great guests, and he impressed me with his backing skills, their bus is enormous.
