We are "wannabe" world travelers in our little RV named Tulip and have made a fairly good start. In 2009 we rented out our house in Colorado and hit the road. Since then, we have been to the west coast, Mexico for 5 months, the Atlantic provinces of Canada including Newfoundland, the east coast, and many states in between. Then in April 2011 we shipped our RV to Europe, took a repositioning cruise to Spain, and then flew to Belgium where we picked up Tulip for more adventure.
Right now, we are back in our home for a while until we decide what step #2 is.
Our favorite past times are hiking, sightseeing, gardening, photography, reading, and piddling around the house.
Husband Steve is quite mechanical when it comes to repairing anything in the coach part of the RV, our house, or the yard. He is very innovative in figuring out a "fix" for most anything.
As far as me, I am fairly good on the computer, better than average with a camera and photo editing software. Also, we are both about 98% vegan and very interested in staying healthy by eating good food and remaining active.
If we are in the US, we mostly stay out west, and like to move at least every couple of days. So far we have mostly boondocked at Walmart's and casino's.
