We've lived here 39 years and have been camping since the early '60's. But age and declining health has caught up to us, so we do very little travelling any more. Ernie and Jacky. We've been married 56 years. Still like having company and meeting new people.Unfortunately, advancing age etc. has forced us to give up camping. It's a tough decision, but had to be done. We still would like boondockers to stop in though and have a lot of extra room for parking. Water and power available, and connection to WiFi.

Trailer and truck were sold a year ago. Pretty sad seeing them go I'll tell ya.
We stayed with Coder38 for two nights, they treated us just like family, they are a wonderful couple and although Ernie's health isn't the best he BBQ our supper for, we would highly recommend that if you are in their area look them up. Nelson and Linda (plant)
We just stayed for one night, but had a great time with them to talk and share stories. Then we even got some stew and we had a very comfortable night. Highly recommend to visit them.
We recently stayed at Coder38 and although it was a short visit, we enjoyed their company. We will be returning some day for dinner or breaky :) Ruth and Steve
We totally recommend you stay here! They had so much information as to where to go/stay in their area, as well as things to see on the way to Alaska. Although they no longer RV, they were very welcoming, in that they had dinner for us, along with very tasty homemade wine, and yummy chocolate-y dessert. In preparing our trip to Alaska, I wanted to drive the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper; Mike, not so much. They strongly suggested it and said all the right things to sway Mike. It was so worth it. If you're in their area, it'd be good for both you and them, as they love meeting new people and if they could, they would still be Rv'ing.
Well, what a wonderful welcome into the world of Boondocking! This was our very first time experiencing this new idea of camping. When we arrived, Ernie & Jackie greeted and welcome us into their home. They insisted that after we settled in we MUST come in and join them for ``leftovers`` for supper and of course some of Ernie`s excellent home made wine. We spent the next four hours visiting and sharing stories with both Ernie and Jacky, what a wonderful evening we had with them. Of course, coffee and muffins for breakfast the next day before we left was insisted upon. We want to thank them for their kindness in making our first experience boondocking as a positive, exciting way to camp. We will certainly stop in at their place again when passing through, if not stopping for the night at least a visit..
We spent one night with Ernie & Jacky and were welcomed with a roast pork dinner! They are a down-to-earth friendly couple and even offered electric & water hookups. Thanks for your hospitality.

We spent two nights with Ernie & Jacky and we've more than enjoyed it! We arrived late and even though Ernie made sure we got water and electricity and Wifi. They welcomed us very warm and invited us directly for breakfast. In the evening, their stories kept us laughin' and awake longer than expected. We were happy that we could help them out with painting the back wall of their house and Ernie made sure, that we won't starve by serving lunch and dinner! Incredible! Thank you so much for everything you did for us - you made boondocking even more Special!
I really enjoyed my stay with Ernie and Jackie. I contacted them last minute and they were so kind to accommodate me even though I was arriving late. They were very hospitable and I thank them so much for letting me use their bathroom and for having a delicious breakfast for me! I felt very safe and would have loved to spend more time with this great couple.
We spent two days with Ernie and Jacky Coderre. It was a wonderful experience . Provided companionship and entertainment. A beautiful farewell supper.

Ernie & Jackie provided a great spot with easy access and made us feel most welcome. We really enjoyed our time with them chatting and swapping stories. Would definitely stay with them again and certainly welcome them as our guest. Hospitality plus!!
It was a real pleasure spending the night on Ernie and Jacky's driveway. They extended amazing hospitality to us and we hada great time telling and listening to each other stories. Highly recommended!
