We hail from NYC, but don’t believe the stereotypes - only our dog is fancy. :P
We purchased a used 2015 Forest River FR3 30DS in 2016 and have been full time since June 2017. We didn’t ever rent or borrow a rig before this, just figured it’d be a good idea and thankfully it has worked out well!
Maybelle works from the road (we’re not retired yet, sadly), so decent AT&T and / or Verizon signals do play a little into our travel plans if she’s on the clock. Otherwise, being down by a river really is the name of the game. :)
David loves to hike and explore natural beauty, as well as local history. Maybelle also loves to hike - but is rather content checking out the local cafes and restaurants as well. Cricket loves everyone and is a sweet little 22 lb / 10 kg dog; Piggy on the other hand is our personal 7.5 lb / 3.4 kg demon cat - but we love her nonetheless.
We’re easy going and welcome as much, or as little, interaction as you fancy. Seeing as much of North America and its people is what makes this lifestyle such a pleasure.
Hope to see you soon!
We travel with our Silken Windhound named Cricket, and our house-cat named Pig.

2015 Forest River FR3 30DS (Class A, 2 slide-outs). With a Subaru Forester in tow.
We had a most enjoyable visit with MaybzNDave and their sweet pets, Cricket and Pig. Thank you for stopping in and sharing a nice few days with us. Hope you have wonderful travels!
We really enjoyed getting to know this adventurous couple. Such easy going young folks, easy to talk to. And their dog Cricket is so quiet you’d hardly know he was there. Perhaps one day we’ll meet up again and enjoy some more wine around a campfire. Happy travels MaybzNDave!
These folks know the RV living, and are easy guests.
We had a great time sharing a meal now and then, and our dogs just loved the pup.
They are welcome back any time and do plan on returning in their travels.
Dave and Maybelle are great guest had lots of fun conversations with them the only thig I did not like was that I did not have time to go kayaking with them if they come back I will be sure to make time. They are always welcome back.
This boondocking couple was very pleasant. We did not get to meet them in person as we are traveling in Alaska. I did speak to Dave on the phone and we had some correspondence back and forth online. We were happy to be able to offer them our host site for 3 nights. And who knows, our paths may cross again at a later date!
Dave and Maybelle were great, we enjoyed talking with them about their lifestyle and adventures. Hope to see them again.
