Ron is a retired geotechnical engineer with an ongoing interest in earthfill dams, landslides and terrain stability. Forced to learn something about baking as my favorite muffin bakery burned down a few years ago. Linda is the household computer and gadget person, but also interested in gardening and genealogy. Our mountain bikes have travelled extensively in the back of the truck without touching the ground. Occasionally drag the canoe out to small lakes or calm rivers.
We both volunteer at the Armstrong Spallumcheen Museum and Art Gallery, a non-profit organization.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Completed a 11,000 km, 5 week trip to Dallas / Ft. Worth Texas via Canyon Parks in May 2012. Too fast. In 2010, drove to Inuvik, including the 700 km (each way) Dempster Highway (?) towing a covered utility trailer and tenting. That's why we got a travel trailer. Much drier and faster to set up. Planning trips to Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands), Ontario and east.
