Jim and I are in our mid 40s and we decided to quit the corporate world, sell most things including our house and embark on a new adventure. We spent the last 2 winters in Bocas Del Toro, Panama and our summers working at a fishing lodge on an island in Northern Ontario, Canada. The lodge is owned by a group of Americans from Wisconsin and 99% of the guests are American. We've had some ideas of what comes next but the good thing is the whole journey is the adventure.
This winter we bought our first 5th wheel and we'll be venturing down South to investigate Florida, Texas and really anywhere coastal. We hope to do some volunteer work and help out where we can like some of the habitat for humanity builds. Love the idea of that program - Care-a-vanners.
We love the outdoors, travel, camping, animals, music, and meeting new people. We tried out couchsurfing in Panama and had a great experience so hoping it will be the same with boondocking. Over the years we have hosted various house guests (human and animal) so have enjoyed that end as well. We are bringing our well-behaved Goldendoodle, Daisy but not the cat. Daisy enjoys humans, cats, fishing but most importantly frisbee.
We have traveled throughout Canada, USA (including Hawaii), Mexico, Europe, St. Lucia, Cuba, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Columbia, and Panama. I'm learning Spanish and love to practice! Hope to visit many more places.
Looking forward to meeting some new friends and seeing some new parts of the world.

It was a pleasure to host this couple and their dog again. I am sure you will feel the same if you ever get the opportunity to host them.
It was my pleasure hosting this nice couple. They have a very well behaved dog and are welcome back anytime.
Jim and Char were delightful people, funny and lots of fun. We enjoyed their company so very much. They are lovely people who respected our home and space and their dog fit right into our pack. They are welcome often, whenever they can get here.
