We both still work mostly RV to visit family.
Dot is newly retired.
Tim is in manufacturing management. Now retired!
Tim is a handy guy to have around.
Friends and family's driveway.
We live in Allentown area Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania. The area has lots of interesting activities besides what Billy Joel sang about!
Our 2004 40' Country Coach Inspire Davinci has 3 slides and still looks great.
One of the nicest Boondocking locations we have been to. Had a very traumatic experience, Tim had a heart attack about 1 hr after we arrived, my wife and I assisted Dot while awaiting the ambulance, I did CPR while my wife use our portable oxygen to assist Dot performed mouth to mouth, we drove Dot to the Hospital and let her out at the Emergency entrance we parked the vehicle and then went to Emergency where we were ushered into the 'Family Room' at this point we found out that Tim had passed, such a sad time, we comforted Dot until freinds arrived. Dot is a very strong Woman, this is a heart breaking time. We wish the outcome would have been positive. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dot at this very difficult time.
We sure appreciated Tim and Dot's kindness in allowing us to park at their place for a few nights. They were very welcoming, patient with our kids, and treated us all as if we were part of their family. Thanks so much! We look forward to connecting with them again down the road. :-)
Arrived late but we were given good directions. Host was not available but another boondocker greeted us. Didn't need any amenities, just a good night's sleep before hitting the road again. Hope to meet our hosts in the future. Lovely place to overnight.
Very convenient for anyone visiting the Allentown area. There is a very spacious area to park in surrounded by trees and large open areas and flowers flowers and more flowers. Very beautiful location with welcoming hosts. Thank you! (If you have a big rig and toad, might want to disconnect ahead of time if you have 2 drivers. The roads are narrow and a wrong turn might not be much fun. Host offered ahead of time to help me get in if I needed it. They also provide good directions and GPS was accurate but there are quick turns which can be confusing as anyone who RVs knows what I mean.)
A great stay at Tim and Dot's place. With the Celtic Festival going on in Bethlehem we didn't get a chance to visit much. Tim is quite handy. If you find yourself in a little bit of a mechanical jam he just might be able to help you. D&L bike path in Bethlehem is a great diversion from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Beautiful spot. Tim and Dot were very welcoming and friendly. Large level area with electric if needed.
Nice location. Water/power available. But...the very best part was meeting and enjoying this couple. Great to have happy conversations.....and...treated to an excellent evening meal at the house.
Impressed with Tim's sawmill, workshop and outside wood furnace providing hot water heat. Pretty resourceful guy.
Thanks again you two. All the best on new RV.
This was a site we didn't want to leave - we loved how tucked away we were in the woods, yet still super close to all that Allentown had to offer.
During our stay we took road trips to Hershey Park (about 90min), Legoland Discovery Center in Philly (1 hour) and the Crayola Experience in Easton (30m) - the girls loved spending time with their favorite candy, crayons, and toys while on our road trip!
We also celebrated our daughter's 6th birthday and loved that Tim and Dot joined us for the celebration - they even provided us with birthday candles when we realized we did not have any - so grateful to have met more amazing people through Boondockers Welcome and we loved the property as well!
I can’t say enough about tim and dot. We instantly felt at home and relaxed at their beautiful property. It was more like visiting old friends than staying at a strangers house. We look forward to crossing paths again in the future.
*Access was easy and parking was nice and level.
very friendly hosts and it's a beautiful place to stay.
What an amazing couple. We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet our hosts and stay on their property. One of the best Boondocker Welcome experiences we have had. Nice property, good location and such nice folks that we hope to keep in touch with.
This is a great, central location and our hosts were super!
D&T how can we Thank You! You handled our unique request and We are so grateful for your help. And then we arrived in a rainstorm....discovering the next morning that our ceiling was leaking 😳. Tim the toolman to the rescue! New friends are great and D&T are among the best.
Thanks loads and we hope you make it out to California so we can reciprocate. 😉
Tailwinds Always, J&M
We felt like we were visiting friends. They were so welcoming and friendly. Even had a meal for us the first evening, which we enjoyed along with good conversation. Another couple pulled in a few days later and it was as if more friends arrived. Great info on sites to see, stores and travel routes. Went way over and beyond our expectations! Thank you so much T & D!!!
A lovely quiet setting in the woods with beautiful flower gardens all around the property. Yet very short drive from Interstate 78. We always enjoy staying here.
This was our first BoonDockers stay and we had a wonderful experience..
Tim & Dot invited us to have dinner with them in their home the first night we got there..
We felt like they were family by the end of dinner..they went above and beyond to help us. We went to NYC and they cared for our two small dogs the whole day we were gone...
Thank you both so much for the great hospitality.. Hope to see you both in Florida this winter.
Henry & Mary Lou
Tim and Dot welcomed me and my dog with open arms! We shared stories and laughs over dinner and they helped me do some planning for the next leg of my trip. My dog absolutely loved their yard! Thank you Tim and Dot!!
Tim and Dot were once again very gracious hosts at their lovely mountain top property.
They have a large gravel parking area with plenty of room secluded in the woods which is perfect for a quiet night.
We felt very welcome and enjoyed our chats with Dot although we missed seeing Tim this trip.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Tim & Dot's Mountain. Unfortunately Tim wasn't there, but Dot was a gracious host, and their property is beautiful! We had no trouble maneuvering our 38-foot motorhome with our car in tow behind it into and out of the property. Thank you Tim & Dot, we hope to see you again!
This was a great location to visit the Allentown, Pa. area and the interstate. The host location is close to the City and many other amenities but you feel as if you are miles away in a country setting. The deer and the chipmunks were plentiful, walking casually through the yard. The host was welcoming and friendly. We had a great conversation about RVing and we were provided information about local attractions and eateries.
We spent a wonderfull time with our hosts. Generous people, beautiful place and gardens, a lot of fun and sharings. Vous êtes des gens formidables et nous espérons vous voir un jour chez nous. Merci du fond du coeur.

Tim and Dot graciously hosted as again! They are great people and their property is beautiful. Thank you for another nice stay!
Tim & Dot made us feel very welcome, were gracious and very accommodating hosts.
Lovely spot on the top of a mountain. Easy to find. Narrow roads but ok for our 26' Trek and they have a 40'.
You can hear traffic from the freeway but it didn't bother us.
Tim recommended a great mechanic who was honest and reasonably priced.
We shared meals and drinks and had a heap of laughs re our/their travels and life in general.
Each time we use BOONDOCKERS WELCOME we meet wonderful folk and cannot believe our luck - They have all been marvelous.
We trust we will meet up sometime somewhere on our return visit from Australia - or in Australia
Hosts readily agreed to postpone our sceduled stay due to a weather event on our part. Tim was especially helpful guiding this neophyte rig driver around their host property. Very genuine folks.
This was our first experience with BoondockersWelcome; these hosts set the bar high.
Hosts were very nice and welcoming. The parking area is very large with plenty of room to maneuver our 33’ motorhome. Electric hookup is very convenient. The property is really nice, wooded and quiet. Definitely recommended.
Tim and Dot are wonderful, generous people with a lovely property to host guests. We enjoyed comparing notes about our experiences and rigs (we have the same kind). Tim was kind enough to come stand on the road to spot us in, since we arrived at night. Our daughter is in college up their way, so I'm sure we'll be back, and we hope to host them at our place sometime.
Tim and Dot were fantastic people to get to know. So much so that I hope we can meet up again when they head out traveling. I highly recommend Tim and Dot's Mountain for a visit.
What a huge blessing to meet Tim and Dot. They truly spoiled us while we were staying with them. They couldn’t have been nicer, and we feel so grateful to now call them friends. They invited us into their lives, and treated us like family. They helped us make the most of our time in Allentown. If you’re going my through PA, you don’t want to miss a stay Arne Tim and Dot’s, and you might not want to leave either. They showed us how we want to be when we are hosts. We never felt like strangers, and we are glad to call them friends. We will definitely be back.
Our first time as guests was an amazing experience. Great spot with extraordinary hosts.
These hosts create an experience to be exemplified by boondockers welcome.
I hope they visit us in their travels, we will definitely travel to killington when they are there to get together.
Very private and close to a lot of fun things.
Hopefully many get together in our future travels.
This was a wonderful spot to spend two nights. Our hosts were very welcoming with a fire in the fire pit on their beautiful patio. The grounds are wonderful to walk around, which we did, enjoying all the flower beds. It was very easy to maneuver our fifth wheel in and out of our parking area and close to highways for easy access. Our hosts were very accomodating our entire visit.
This was our very first stay using BW and it was fantastic. Tim and Dot are gracious hosts and their property looks like a park setting: beautiful gardens, wildlife (deer and hundreds of fireflies!), Excellent stonework...Thanks much for a wonderful dinner and hope we may host you some day. God bless!
We arrived as strangers, and then we hated to leave our now-good-friends' place! Tim and Dot were beyond hospitable - both are very friendly, super easy-going, great to visit with, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Their place is gorgeous and they provided us with a nice level spot (which is quite a feat on a mountain!) with power. We would most definitely go back and visit with them again, and hope to return the favor if/when they make it to our neck-of-the-woods.
Tim & Dot set the standard when it comes to hosting. From the minute we shook hands, I felt welcomed and a part of the family. The scenery is beautiful and the tour of the home was eye opening. I highly recommend this location to any boondocker in the Pennsylvania (Allentown) area. Thank you Tim & Dot, you made our trip that much better.

They were very personable and helpful...Great location.....Our very first boondock was a great experience....
We stayed with Tim and Dot for one night. They have a lovely property and very close to the city, yet it is very private and forested. They were very nice and very helpful! A great experience!
We couldn't make our stay with Tom and Dot due to mechanical issues with our coach. We do look forward to meeting them in the future. Very welcoming folks.
