We are an active couple that likes bike riding (mountain and road), hiking and kayaking. We love to travel with our dog, Cooper. Cooper is a mini Australian Sheppard; he loves to join us on our adventures.
Dave is hobby wood-worker and a heavy duty mechanic by trade. I (Jen) am an avid fitness enthusiast and teach fitness classes when not travelling.
We both love to cook and entertain.
Dave is a heavy duty mechanic by trade and a general handy man. He can fix or modify just about anything! I (Jen) love to bake and cook, I also enjoy tinkering with Dave in the shop and am pretty good on the CNC machine and other wood working tools!
There are lots of great things to do in Kelowna...here are a couple suggestions:
Myra Canyon Trestles- you can rent a bike to ride the KVR kettle valley railway and see the amazing restored trestles.
Kangaroo Farm....30 to 40 mi a away...super fun lots of great animals and $10 entry fee.
Pub - BNA is a great pub downtown with excellent food and bowling!
We have one dog - Cooper is a mini Australian Shepherd, he is very friendly and well-socialized with dogs and cats.
We are responsible pet owners and pick-up after our pets.
We have traveled through much of BC, we love the Okanagan and the Kootenays. We also love Oregon and California. We are just beginning our exploration of the rest of Canada and the US and know we'll fall in love with many more places.
We live in Kelowna, BC.
We have two rigs; a camper of our more adventurous trips and a 40 foot RV (2007 Dutchstar with slides) for our more planned travels. The camper is an Okanagan with slides which sits on our 2006 Dodge dually, sometimes we pull our enclosed trailer for bikes and other camping gear and other times just throw the bike rack on the back. Our RV is a 40 foot Dutchstar - we tow our Jeep TJ with us for side trips.
Enjoyed having them stay with us. Will welcome them back anytime.
As brief as it was, we had a lovely visit. Nice rig.
These guys were no trouble at all: plenty of advance notice, small vehicle footprint, no other requirements, quiet considerate departure in the morning… we’re only sorry our weather was miserable when they were here, curtailing our chatting! Recommended. Hope they enjoy good travels in better weather!

In summary: just great hosts and great site.
Our stay at Jen and Dave’s place was just perfect. They have a fabulous place with plenty of space for our pickup and trailer. They were welcoming and very generous taking the time to interact and guide us in our activities. Very high energy couple with positive attitude that make our stay just perfect.
Our hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Property is beautiful and secure. We had no issues getting our 38 ft Class A up their driveway but may have struggled with our toy hauler trailer on the steep hill/sharp turn if we had been in that. Dave and Jen were easy to talk to, because we are new to Boonedockers, they graciously helped us understand BW guidelines and were kind enough to recommend some fun things to do in the area. Could not have asked for a better first experience. Great people, recommend 100%
Loved Myra canyon "driveway" which is long large next to a huge patch of lawn perfect for
our little one to play and run. Our hosts we're friendly and helpful. They gave great insight on what to do and which winery to visit. It's a shame the sky was so smoky the view must be beautiful. We would go back anytime
Host are kind and frendly. Everthing was awsome. Thank you very much.
Jen and Dave were welcoming and helpful. Very friendly, kind hosts who made sure we had what we needed.
The hosts greeted us when we arrived.
They are great poeple to chat with, wealth of information about the area. Very gracious hosts.
We enjoyed our stay, close to evrything. 3 thumbs up.
These hosts were super responsive, kind and welcoming even though we arrived a bit later in the day than expected. This was our first Boondockers Welcome experience and it couldn’t have left us with a better impression of the community. They even shared recommendations of places we should check out on our trip! Thank you so much Dave and Jen!
Jen and Dave were beyond amazing. They had a good flat parking bad for us to set up on and had an outlet for power ready for us in case we needed it. They were very friendly and accomodating and offered us to stay extra nights if we needed it. Would highly recommend the hosts for anyone visiting this beautiful area of BC!
Jen and Dave are wonderful hosts, very personable and easy to talk to and very helpful. Using gps is the best way to get there. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. We’d highly recommend them...🤗🙏🏽
Stayed 2 nights and felt very secure.
We made two days of hhking.
You have To grab your bike and go To Myra Canyon.
The most wonderfull place to ride .
A huge thanks to our wonderful host for helping us out at this very difficult time. They have a wonderful property in a fabulous location. Looking forward to meeting back up soon.
Enjoyed our stay.

Keep the lug nuts tight.

This was our first boondock experience and we think there could not be a better introduction.
Jen and Dave (and there 2 lovely dogs) where so friendly and showed us around there Beautiful home. Their hospitality reached from sharing information about the area till sharing fruits from their (amazing) garden. The driveway gave easy access to our 27 feet rv and Dave offered electricity and water connection. We highly recomend this stay!
Very calm and conveniant site to stay. Couldn't get better hosts than Jen and Dave! We spent a nice evening with them having very interesting conversations.
We, a family of 4, had a warm welcome here. We could use the garden at the front of the house which was perfect for playing for the boys and having our dinner. Quiet at night. Recommend staying here. Thanks Jen and Dave!
We’ve been there for 2 nights and it was perfect to visit Kelowna area. Very welcoming people. They accepted our stay event if they had friends at home. Thank you so much Jen and Dave.
Very nice hosts close to kelowna. They provided us with everything we needed and were very welcoming:)
This was our first experience with Boondockers and we had a great time with Jen and Dave as host. We really recommend to check out this place if you are in this area and need a place to stay. Thanks for having us as your guests. Rebecca & Stefan.
Thanks Dave, (we did not get to meet Jen, sorry!)
We needed a night's parking spot close to Kelowna and it was perfect! Dave was there to meet us when we arrived and plugged us in. We were able to pet their two beautiful dogs and then we headed out to explore.
Our stay was exactly what we needed!

We enjoyed the stay in Kelowna with this lovely couple. Our dog was having too much fun playing with the host's dogs. We walked on the trail just behind the house which is really a great off-leash area for dogs. If you come to Kelowna this amazing place is great place.
Had a lovely stay! Our first boondocking experience, will definitely do it more often.
Jen and Dave, hope you enjoyed your morning walk and didn't get soaked like we did haha!
Thanks to Jen and Dave for allowing our family to stay on their property. Very much appreciated. Nice and quiet. Friendly hosts. 😍
It was quite an adventure (not really) finding Jen & Dave's lovely new-to-them home. We couldn't believe it when they said that they had only just moved in two weeks ago, until we saw the garage! WOW. In spite of not yet being fully settled we couldn't have been more warmly welcomed.
Getting to their home's location is not for the in-experienced RVer, if your rig is any size at all, but it's certainly worth the effort. Even their two dogs made us feel welcome. This is only our second or third time being hosted by a Boondockerswelcome host and we are now committed to availing ourselves more often of this wonderful service. Thank-you Marianne for getting this organization going.
We are new to this and found out Jenn and Dave were first time host to us. They greeted us warmly and were excellent host inviting us into their home and meeting their neighbours. They gave us a wealth of information on boondocking and where their travels have taken them. We were very grateful to have met them and will remember this awesome stay forever.
