Friendly, quiet traveller on the road trip of a lifetime.

Super Guest

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

I'm a funny, smart, a bit of a nerd, and really starting to like doing this whole snow-bird thing. I know how to be a good guest and like animals. My fiance will be joining me in February 2019 for a trip around the southwest. He's even cooler than I am.

Skills & Expertise to Share

I can cook, grill, garden, replace an alternator, bake, sew crude pillows together from various things, mix a wicked margarita (or lime spritzer if you don't partake), and build a nice campfire. I'm interested in learning how to hunt, fish, orienteer, and anything else cool. I'm always interested in people's hobbies!

LeafOnTheWind's Pets

I have a Canadian Sphynx. She's cute, bald, super affectionate, and makes an excellent copilot.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Anywhere level and quiet is fine with me; an outdoor wall outlet and wi-fi don't hurt, and meeting cool people is the best part!

LeafOnTheWind's Hometown

I'm from the pretentious, coffee-swilling, umbrella-shunning, socks-and-sandals-wearing part of Washington State. I've made a deal with that area... I only visit it in the summer.

LeafOnTheWind's Rig

Rig Type: Class C

23 feet long

My rig is a 23 foot class C with no slideouts or levelers. It's so basic, it might as well run on pumpkin spice and uggs.... but to me, it's home to me and my kitty copilot during our adventures.

Nice Guest

I missed reviewing this guest last year... sorry! She was nice. Stayed mostly in her rig working during the day while she was here. We had no issues at all.

Wonderful couple !

They came to stay and it was a record extreem weather conditions (a snow storm that would give the midwest a run ) and even though it wasnt the warm 70’s degree they expected and had one heck of adventure (one for a book) they were poliet . Quite and positive attitudes . They just rolled with it . I hope they plan to visit again with hopes for wonderful weather and get the magical time they deserve . Just really a nice couple . They welcome back here anytime .

Pleasant visit

It was a pleasure to host Leaf, and I would recommend her to anyone. She knows her RV and how to spot it, and was a quiet and respectful guest.

Would be happy to host her any time.

Quiet and respectful!

LeafOnTheWind was a very quiet guest! We hardly knew she was here. Apparently very busy on a work project and glued to her computer. Great to meet a very interesting young lady.

Easy going

LeafOnTheWind travels with a cool cat and let me tour her equally cool class C rig, Serenity. Leaf is a pleasant guest and is welcome to stay again 😁

Our first guest

Our first visitor. Thanks for staying at our lot and the good advice you gave us. Hope our paths cross again and we can meet in person.

Delightful and Adventurous

LeafOnTheWind is quiet and thoughtful. Traveling alone, she is self-sufficient, yet appreciates what the host has to contribute to her way of life on the road. She works from the road, so her time to herself is to be respected. She is welcome here anytime.

LeafOnTheWind was a cordial and pleasant guest. Her cat was all but invisible. We would be pleased to host them both anytime they come our way.
