My husband Glenn and I live in beautiful North Idaho, but are now semi-retired and only need to work in the summer months. So we are enjoying the luxury of escaping the cold, grey, snowy winter and love exploring warmer climes in our small truck with a slide-in camper. We love to poke around new towns, chat with the locals and learn the history.
I like to think that we have a pretty good selection of skills between us. We are Do-It-Yourselfers so we have learned a bit about trouble-shooting problems and getting things working. We like to work, so we often take on projects along the road. In our travels we have run into folks and helped them: restore an old plantation home in Louisiana, build a chicken coop gate in California, fix a broken car window in Arizona, etc. We are always game to lend a helping hand.
We are not traveling with pets or children.
This is our 3rd year of BoondockersWelcome. We have stayed in so many beautiful places and have met so many kind and hospitable people. We can't pick a favorite! Thanks to everyone who has accomodated us!
We have lived in North Idaho for 25 years. We love the small resort town we live in, and often gravitate to the mountains and lake to drink in the beauty of the natural world.
We travel in a totally self-contained camper on the back of our 3/4 ton Ford pick up. The total length of our rig is 22 1/2 feet and stands 10' 6" tall. We like to do remote camping and are fine without hook-ups. Our rig is clean and 10 years old, very respectable looking.
Nice folks. Happy to host them, and they're welcome back anytime.
It was great to have MacHfromSP stop in for a visit. They were very proactive in letting us know their timetable on arrival so we were able to make sure there were no issues on our end for them. Always nice to have fellow campers especially when they travel across the country in a truck camper and share stories. Looking forward to visiting with them again in our travels and theirs.
We had a great time hosting this couple. They are invited and welcomed back any time. The only regret we had was that they couldn't stay longer. It always amazes me how Rver's are so much like wonderful family and we have so much in common.
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and spending time with Glen and Amy. Great people and great conversations. Truly enjoyed hearing their stories about all their travels. They were incredibly respectful of the property and very trustworthy. Great guests. Hope to see them again one day!
We enjoyed having Amy and Glenn stay with us. It just so happy that we crossed paths perfectly during the holidays. We would definitely love to host them again and again.

Glenn and Amy arrived exactly when they said they would. They were great to talk to & listen to their travels.
My only regret was that they could not have stayed longer. They presented us with a wonderful present upon their
departure. Great people. They are a wonderful couple and we hope they will stop by again when in the area.
MacHfromSP actually stayed with us twice and both visits were great. They are great guests!
MacHfromSP were awesome guests. They communicated regularly regarding their arrival. They have a super compact rig. We enjoyed talking with them during their brief stay with us. They may be new to Boondocking but seem like pros.
A friendly couple, hope to meet up with them again sometime. Would host them again.
