Doug and Martha from Stratford On Canada. We are fairly new to the Roadtrek RV lifestyle but not new to travelling. We have four grown children. We bought our RV a few years ago and we have travelled quite a bit of America in it already. We hope to do more Canadian travel. We love meeting people in our travels. We lived in China for nine years with our kids teaching English as a Second Language and enjoyed some travel while there. We have travelled around Europe a bit but really like to do road trips, thus we bought a 2003 Roadtrek. We don't camp a lot as we like to go from place to place. This seems like a great way to do that. We are sad that our association does not allow us to host guests otherwise we’d be hosts but if you are ever in the Stratford area and need help or want to connect look is up. Looking forward to meeting all along our travels.

My husband is a salesmanger at an Engineering company. We both are certified ESL instructors (Teaching English as a second language). Sorry we are not too mechanical or have great things to add to the RV world other than our travel experience. Well, we do know a fair bit about computers.
We are new to boondocking but we have boondocked in a lot of Walmarts and some Travel stops in America. Once we boondocked on the California Coast.
We live in Stratford Ontario Canada
2003 Roadtrek Class B van 19 ft with a box on the back sometimes.
The perfect guests. They were pleasant company but, at the same time, very independent. And proof that guests who can't host, can still "pay it forward" in other ways. They've traveled extensively (worldwide) and introduced us to a neat off-line mapping tool - Ulmon, CityMaps2Go - complete with a personalized lesson in the basics of using it. We're experimenting with it now.
While it's always exciting to have guests from far away, it's great to meet those who, like Dougnmarti, live close enough to easily maintain contact. We look forward to seeing them again soon.
