We raise catfish in northeast ms. We recently traded our 2004 jayco that we had used during our years of earthmoving when we had to go out of town. We built our catfish ponds and quit the dirt moving. Now we have a farm manager, so we are able to travel..not so freely during the summer months tho..fish farming is intense then. We are in our mid 60's, have 9 grands.
We can tell you about raising catfish!

S n B RV'n stopped by for a snooze and run. Great guests, on the way home. We had to leave early for a forgotten dental appointment. Only got to visit for a few minutes, but were fun to talk to!
We enjoyed meeting and hosting S n B. They were delightful. We wish we had been more available to visit with them. Very curtious, we would host them again anytime.
We had a great visit with S n B they are welcome back any time
One of the most beautiful places I've stayed. The hosts were very nice and I enjoyed spending time chatting. The views were incredible and the sunset was amazing. I can't say anything but positive about this place. Easy access and lots of privacy, peace and quiet with lots of nature sounds. I would go back here any time. Thank you for your kindness!
We stayed with this host for one night with our Chrysler minivan camper, in their huge farmyard. Although not as secluded as we normally like to be, the hosts were very gracious, and were familiar with my wife's home town area. We had a good visit on their back porch. Unfortunately, it started pouring down rain as we were finishing our packing the next morning, and we didn't get to say goodbye, but would definitely stay here again if we pass this way.
After a long day on the road, it was really nice to see a smiling face. Steve greeted us right away and set us up in a great area at their place. Wished we could have stayed longer to visit - they were so accommodating and just what needed! And, the purple martins are gorgeous!
Great experience to be hosted by Steve and Bonnie. Excellent hosts, very friendly, good chat in the morning after (about everything). Steve showed us the catfish ponds and his daily concern, what was very interesting. We’re happy to have met these guys, we thank them so much and wish them all the best, retired or not yet.
Such lovely and gracious people! Very easy to talk to, very informative- I learned a lot about catfish farming!! Beautiful home and yard. How lovely to sleep by the lullaby of the frogs and waken to the animated chatter of the birds! Highly recommend this stop!!
We stayed with our hosts on May 4th, 2018 with our minivan camper. They were very friendly hosts, and we found many things in common, since they were familiar with our northern Indiana heritage. We had a nice evening visit after dinner, but it started pouring rain the next morning. They were gracious enough to allow us to get our van under a roof so we could complete our packing up without getting wet, and we really appreciated that. We would definitely recommend this country setting on a large commercial farm, and will request another stay if we pass that way again. It was a very pleasant experience!
We loved staying here. The hosts are incredibly kind and the scenery is gorgeous. And we loved watching all the birds— they’re abundant here!
We were greatly blessed to meet Steve and Bonnie at the Catfish Farm. They were so warm and welcoming. We had the opportunity to learn a lot about catfish and the process of feeding and harvesting the fish. They had been caring for 2 of their grandchildren who's mother had given birth the day before. The accommodations were wonderful with the ability to view acres and acres of pond, trees, cattle and sky. We treasure Bonnie and Steve and consider them very dear friends.
