We each are on our third or fourth career. We find some interest in everything the World anound us presents, and are impatient to travel more, and actually visit the places we have only read about. If you are well travelled and a good storyteller you will be especially welcome!
I have a shop full of tools and can help diagnose and repair any small issues if they need urgent attention. But I am not a repair shop, even though I am willing to help.
We travel with a pair of large black canine co-navigators.
Valley of Fire State Park in NV, Death Valley In Ca, the CA Coastal Redwoods area, and the. CA central coast wine country
We roam in a Vixen 21. Sort of a sports car with a bed, bath and kitchen. Powered by a BMW diesel pusher it has taken us many places in CA, OR, NV, and AZ. We are upgraging several systems now and looking forward to expanding our horizons.
They stayed a few days while waiting for a package to arrive here. It was a pleasant experience. My small Pomeranian mix fell in love with their huge Doberman. He was quite gentle with her. They are invited to return on their next trip to this area.
As our host, Bogie, on his site states, his place is off a busy street and somewhat hidden by trees, and has a driveway with low hanging branches at the foot and not very visible from the street.
We were glad to have his personal directions as the GPS wasn't the proper way to approach this address.
Once up the driveway there is so much space it is easy to manoeuvre and we had no problems driving out the next morning. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and easy to chat with. Bogie generously showed us his hobby machines- you need to go just to see what is there! Very interesting and great to learn about. Thank you for the hospitality and we recommend your site to others who may be in the area.
Fantastic host that was very laid back and kind. Their space worked out perfect for us for 2 nights and was in a great location. We visited for a while and they told us about harbor days down in Olympia. We took the kids and had a great time. I wish I were neighbors!
Hosts were very kind. Not intrusive but very welcoming. They let the kids pick blackberries off their bushes. Plenty of space to park.
Bogie is new to BW just like us. We are so glad that they were willing to host us. They are full of surprises. They are both so talented, and generous. I'm not sure that you'll see a cooler rig out there, than the one they have. I'm not even going to spoil it for you. If you want to stay with one of the most eclectic hosts out there, and see some of the coolest machines around, pay Bogie a visit. Not to mention they know so much about Olympia and the surrounding hidden gems to go see. We definitely hope to run into these guys again, whether on the road, or on our stop through Olympia.
A good time was had by all as the saying goes. Their dogs were not a problem at all. I would have them back again.
