My name is Jen. My husband, and our 2 boys (plus our 2 furry kids Fiona and Cooper) are on an adventure of a lifetime. We decided we wanted to have more family time and get out of the rat race of school/sports/work schedules and go on a bonding journey. We bought our 2015 Forester in June and moved out of our house of 14 years in October to hit the road and teach our kids about our beautiful country and meet amazing people. We have a private drum instruction business in Santa Barbara, CA. We also have a trash can/bucket band called "BOOM Chaka" that performs locally to help raise money for charities that we have been running for 20 years. We won't have all our members with us but we are hoping to bring our music to streets around the country to have fun and bring joy to others.
My husband Craig is a master drum teacher/player
Both boys also play
I am a great cook and love to share good food with others while enjoying wine and great conversation.
Yes. Cooper (lab) a 3 yr old neutered male.

This was their second visit, and just as much fun as the first. Some mail came for them after they left, so they'll be back :)
Team T was an absolute joy to host! Jen and Craig are taking their kids on a once in a lifetime adventure.
They spent 3 days with us and we were so sorry to see them leave. We had such a lovely time with them, sharing dinners together and conversations in the evenings. Craig gave us an impromptu concert on his pan drum... such a beautiful sound!
Craig and the boys helped Paul cut some trees down and kept the fire going even during the rain storm that blew through. Such a great help around the property.
What can I say about their dogs? They are 2 of sweetest lovable dogs I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. (as a host I was happy to see that the dogs servants cleaned up after them!) I have to admit I would love to have kept them here with me!
We wish Team T safe and wonderful travels and we hope to see them again, either here at our place or on the road! Anyone who gets a chance to host this lovely family will count themselves lucky for having met them.

We had so much fun with Team T. Great family with curious and intelligent boys. Interesting mini-jam session with a handpan, nose blown recorder and dulcimer one night, and lots of shared food. We hope to cross paths again somewhere in this beautiful world, and look forward to the next time they pass this way again.
We enjoyed having Team T stay with us. They are a fun family and we had some great conversation. You are welcome back anytime!
This was the most fun we have had with a boondocking family. They had so much fun floating the Toccoa river, visiting waterfalls and the towns by us that they stayed two extra days. We had dinner with them (she cooked) twice and the boys enjoyed our turtle pets. We even had music with our dinner. If you get asked for a day or two visit from them we are sure you will be pleased.
Team T spent time with us and were such a pleasure to host. I was out of town but they kept Butch company for the three days they were here. Even cooked a meal to share with him. They were very friendly, quiet and appreciative even the boys on their own came and thanked Butch for sharing our home with them. They fished and enjoyed the peacefulness playing their guitars while looking out over the river. The dogs were also a pleasure to be around. So if they request a stay with you don't hesitate to host this awesome family.

This family is on adventure of a lifetime. Nice people. Only stayed one night so we didn't have time to share too many stories. Dogs are good too.
