I'm a retired single engineer who enjoys working on my whole house renovation, off-roading with my Jeep, motorcycle riding and of course RVing. I tinker on many things doing most of my own vehicle maintenance, including my RV.
As my Dad used to say, Jack of all Trades, Master of none. Or as a childhood friend of mine describes our (his and my) abilities, we've got Homesteader Licenses - we can fix (almost) anything. What we can't fix we probably don't have any need for anyway.
No pets at this time
Big Bend National Park, Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Alaska.
Soldotna, Alaska but I live in Murphy, Texas and have for the past 35+ years.
My current RV is a 2017 Leisure Travel Van (LTV) Unity set up for towing my 2dr Jeep Wrangler or my motorcycle on a small trailer. The LTV is a 25' Class C built on a Sprinter 3500 cut-away chassis. I can turn it around on the parking pad in my backyard.
Bob was our first experience with boondocking. we were also brand new to owning an rv. Bob helped us so much with all of his life experiences and knowledge. i took many notes! his property is beautiful and is in a great location to sightsee.
Bob was a very nice guy and very helpful enjoyed talking to him and him sharing his knowledge...
Bob hosted me and my pup for 3 nights and was so accommodating. He offered water and electric, and I was parked on a nice dry and level surface that was fenced in. The neighborhood is beautiful and upscale. It is a slightly narrow drive like he mentions in his post, so you have to be able to back up well. Bob is so well travelled and has a lot of stories and knowledge. I look forward to looking at his personal webpage and many pictures of the places he's been. I cannot recommend Bob enough!!
Gave us useful info for where else we might boondock. Helpful even though we did not stay there.
