I am an American Veteran who, during 20 years in South America, spent 5 of those years boondocking around the north of Argentina & but mostly around the south of Brazil in an old (antique?) American made motorhome into which I had swapped a Mercedes-Benz diesel engine.
Of the last 47 years I have only been back to the USA for the last 17. I'm still working but intended to repeat the adventure of boondocking, but this time around the USA.
My life-long goal has been to make friends wherever I go as friendship is one of the few assets that translate past death.
Have you ever seen that advertisement where the car comes speeding down a street and then slides in sideways between two parked cars? In my version the driver, me, get out with a huge grin and declares, "Wow, what a ride this has been!" :-) This is how I want the next adventure to play out. I hope that I can share mu enthusiasm and desire for friendship with others. I hope to meet YOU!
I'm a software developer. I've hand-built 100's of clone computers. I'm mechanically adept though no expert.

We own an older 38 foot Newmar diesel pusher and use a Mini Cooper as a toad. I have been renovating it for the last year and a half.
