We are Joey & Chery (Cheryl) who are on a quest to explore and discover what makes our country and it's people the greatest.
Being in our fifties, we are re-balancing our lives and getting a jump on (pre)retirement. Avid campers for many years, we have done the circuit from tent to pop-up camper to travel trailer to FINALLY a Class A motor home ...although we still call it the "Trailer". Chery and I are sociable, easy going and really enjoy traveling (not by air). We purchased our motor home in July 2017, to journey kilometer by kilometer wherever it takes us across Canada and perhaps afterwards to the United States. We are not big fans of high volume tourist destinations nor high density campgrounds. We would rather explore rural and small town Canada along with it's people and beautiful vistas.
We are looking forward to our boondocking travels this October 2017 and may consider opening our Eastern Ontario cottage to fellow boondockers in the new year.
Avid DIYer, if I can't fix it myself...it can't be fixed. Photo buffs, costume design, event planning, boating....etc.
Managing life's challenges, living 5 days per week and working 2.
Now learning to take the time to stop and smell the roses.
We are set to explore Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and the Maritimes within the next several years or so. We will blog our favorite locations and experiences as they happen.
October 2017 (8th to 15th) Ontario (Georgian Bay area)
Summer 2018 PEI and Nova Scotia.
Pembroke Ontario / Montreal Quebec / Cottage in Eastern Ontario (Now home most of the time)
We are traveling in a Class A 2007 Gulf Stream Tourmaster. It is 40 feet and very agile. It has 3 slide outs and is well equipped for boondocking.
