My wife and I are both in our early fifties and recently became empty nesters. Our youngest of five is completing college several hours away from us and has job opportunities waiting when he graduates in music management. We've always enjoyed being outdoors and short tent camping adventures, and recently decided to upgrade to a new 27ft Keystone and have absolutely fallen in love with it and weekend getaways. Living in S. Indiana we have a lot of choices when it comes to campgrounds in close proximity to where we live. The problem that we're finding is that most are crowded, which sometimes takes away from the camping experience. I started reading articles on boondocking and some of the great experiences people have had, so I thought I would look into it and see what's out their for us to explore.
