We pull a 26' trailer with a pickup truck.
We have a 39ft 5th wheel and a tow vehicle and had plenty of room to park in the lot. Our kids enjoyed the field next to the space to run around. It’s a bummer the cafe wasn’t open due to covid, but hopefully next time. We didn’t have the opportunity to meet the owners or stay long, but this was exactly what we need for a stopover to rest.
Hosts were very accommodating, offered electric and water, had plenty of room, and were very friendly. We enjoyed meeting the hosts and visiting with them!
Great lot with electric hookup. Other boondockers had an amazing telescope that they shared. Easy to pull in. Hosts super welcoming and kind. Loved staying here.
Wildwood was very accommodating for my every need. Excellent host!! Asphalt parking lot for a now-closed business was nearly perfectly level. Water was very close by. One note -- only one way in and out of the parking lot means you'll have to back out or 3-point turn around inside a 45' wide space; only a problem for bigger rigs or if you have a towed (just drop it?).
Wildwood was a friendly host and we enjoyed our stay. There is access to a creek where canoes and kayaks can be launched. The site was level with access to electricity and shade. I enjoyed talking with Wildwood and found out we had many common interests. We were offered coffee and pie the morning that we departed which was an unexpected and delicious surprise.
What an easy spot to park in, dead level while hooked up. Nice folks with lots of advice about the area. 30 amp hookup, bar nearby
Really nice folks! The 30A outlet isn't close to the parking area but he has a very long (and probably very expensive) extension cord that works perfectly. Have 30 - 50 feet of water hose on hand to make that hookup easy. Lots of open space to walk your dogs. We had lunch with our hosts a nice little "hole in the wall" cafe about a 1 minute walk away. Will call them again if we pass that way.
I discovered a nice trail within a block or so of the site, picked wild raspberries, and made a small pie. Communication with the host was good. We were able to access onsite WiFi. Although the cafe was closed, we enjoyed sitting on a covered porch to read.
Hubby and I were just looking for a quiet night away just to get out of the house since we have been sheltered in place for 2 months. Dave's property was very pretty and VERY quiet. Felt safe and cozy! We will return when the cafe can re-open for business.
We stayed one night when passing through. They stopped what they were doing when we arrived and went out of their way to help us set up. Nice to have 30 amp available and we were able to fill our water tank too. Nice big level parking lot. Restaurant was closed since we were there Monday but would highly recommend eating there if you can come on a day it’s open.
Spent a nice night and visit with Wildwood during a return trip. Would have liked to had breakfast at their cute cafe, but we happened to be there on a day they weren't open, will correct that on the next time through.
Welcomed us warmly, Host left early the next day. We didn’t get a chance to thank them in the morning, but we sure did like the warm greeting. Would love to stop by next spring to take them to dinner.
The hosts were gracious. Very nice and quiet place to stay. Bonus-they own a quaint cafe in front with delicious breakfast!
We highly recommend!
We loved our two day stay with Wildwood! Such a wonderful, welcoming couple. Very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend, and would stay there again in a heartbeat!
