I am a Science Teacher and my partner is in Pediatrics. We bought the 17 acres 5 years ago and we decided to clear and create 10 campsites for boondockers. We have a 5th wheel RV ourselves and enjoy camping. We also enjoy meeting new people when they come to visit and stay with us.
Jack of all trades, Master of none. Built our house except for the black water plumbing, Sheetrock (will never do that again), and high voltage electrical, roofing and siding.
Yes, a spoiled and very submissive English Setter rescue dog.
Only went boondocking once in Iowa. Felt like boondocking when we went to the National Parks out west and Acadia. None had hookups.
We really dont have a hometown. We live in a hamlet called Elease, NC. It's not even on most maps. We have a couple of neighbors that live 1/4 mile away. We are surrounded by state forest. We are originally from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. We moved here for work many years ago.
We have a 2012 Infinity 5th Wheel with 5 slides. We bought her because at the time, she was the first to have the front living room. She is a monster that we lived in for 2 years while building our house. We now use her for weekend and summer break camping.
Mike is a super host! Beautiful property.
This was our 2nd stay at this location. Great property with numerous sites to choose from. Host friendly and very accommodating. Convenient enough to I-95 but far enough away to not have the road noise. Highly recommend!
Perfect location for our overnight stay. Wooded and quiet, with several level parking spots. Many thanks to our generous host for sharing their bit of nature!
