My boyfriend and I love camping, and being outside. We have a seasonal camping site in NH, and also have a travel trailer and did a few local trips. We plan to purchase a 5th wheel and do some longer trips.
I am an avid hiker, working on the 48 4000'era in NH.
We are dog lovers, and often have a foster dog here. We like meeting new people and seeing new places.
Mechanical help possible. Places for dogs to run and play, and swim.
Yes, 3 dogs. All rescues, but we usually only bring one camping.
I loved camping all over Alaska.
Cameo 5th wheel, 3 slides. We pull with an F350
Beautiful place in the woods with room to be comfortable. Dianne and Chris are very welcoming hosts and we especially enjoyed sitting out with them looking at the stars and visiting. So quiet we got a great night's sleep too. Would definitely stay again if we get back this way!
We spent 2 nights at Chris and Dianne's. It was raining when we arrived, but they came out and greeted us and got us hooked up. Slept peacefully in this quiet, country location near the lake. Dianne was very communicative via email, and gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area based on our interests. We had a gorgeous day the following day, and drove around Lake Winnipesaukee, stopping in Wolfeboro for lunch and a bike ride along the lake on the rail trail. We got back to the house before dark, and had a nice chat with our hosts before retiring for the night. Chris and Dianne are great, with a beautiful home. We felt very welcomed.
We had a great couple of days with Dianne and Chris. The location was easy to get to, with enough room to maneuver once onsite. This was our first time in New Hampshire, and it left a lasting impression on us. We had a great time getting to know our host, and enjoyed sitting outside together talking into the evening. They have a beautiful home, nestled in the perfect setting. We would highly recommend staying here when you are in the area.
We ate at a local dive, and on the wall read "If I owned Heaven and New Hampshire, I'd rent out Heaven and live in New Hampshire." Thank you Dianne and Chris for sharing your piece of Heaven with us.
We arrived early in the evening to a warm welcome from Dianne and the 4 legged family. Beautiful location in the woods, extremely quiet. A very nice place to relax after a long day on the road. We had a wonderful conversation with Chris and Dianne after dinner they know their part of the world well and had lots of good ideas of places for us to visit in our upcoming days of travel. We highly recommend Chris and Dianne to anyone traveling this way and looking for welcome, quiet retreat from the road.
Thanks for all your hospitality and we look forward to seeing you in Oregon some day.
