I'm a Christian, serve my local church as a Deacon, and Sunday School teacher. I'm very close to retirement after close to 40 years with the same company. I started working as a Industrial Mechanic and now as a Technical Assistant. We traveled all 50 states and 9 Provinces of Canada with our 3 daughters. I enjoy the outdoors by hunting and riding a dual sport motorcycle.
I consider my self a Jack of all trades and master on none. Which means I know a little bit about everything and not much of nothing.
I have a black lab and use her when hunting wood ducks. My dog's name is Belle but she doesn't travel with us.
We enjoy the mountains I guess because we live in the coastal swamp area with an elevation of 13'.
We live in the small community just outside of Orange Texas in the south eastern part of the state.
We recently purchased a 2017 17'Casita. There are no slide outs are outside decorations. Our tow vehicle is a 1/2 ton 4 door Ford truck.
I enjoyed having Carrol and Pam stop in for an overnight visit. The small Casita will fit anywhere, so size isn't an issue. I was't home much, but they were not any trouble at all. They are welcome back anytime.
These Texans came in for a short visit did a little site seeing on their motorcycle and we got to have a short visit. Their small camper is quite cute and seems to serve them well. Love to have them back anytime.
Our time together was just too short..but they were a very nice, courteous couple. We certainly hope they come back again. Hope our paths cross again sometime.
What a nice thoughtful couple!!! Southern Texas couple with lots of love and compassion to go share with others!!!
I just really hated that I was working and couldn’t spend more time with them!!!
We hope to see them again in the future!!!
Cliff & Family
Super nice couple. Enjoyed discussing the joys of traveling and seeing what this great country has to offer. Hope to meet again once we finally hit the road. Always welcome back to Big Daddy's.
This is couple with southern hospitality and a good sense of humor. We would host them anytime.
Enjoyed hosting Pam and Carrol, just wished they'd stayed a bit longer so I could have gotten to know them better. But their Grandkids were drawing them back home, so they only stayed one nite and left early in the morning. Hope we can meet up again!
Very nice guests. We were having terrible weather during their stay so they moved on early. They are certainly welcome to return again should their travels bring them this way.
We wish them safe travels.
Great guests hardly knew they were even here they seem to really enjoy the quiet of The country. Talked with them a couple times enjoyed our conversation
Monroe are wonderful guests. Polite, considerate, adventurous, happily on the go, and appreciative are words that would describe them well. Definitely recommended.
We were happy having Monroe be our guests, even if only one night. True boondockers, they were well prepared. We will have a place for them anytime. We definitely recommend Monroe as great guests. We look forward to seeing them here again.
We were so happy to meet this wonderful couple and host them for a couple of nights.
They represent what Boondockers Welcome is all about!
These guests were very gracious and appreciative of the accommodations. They are welcome here anytime.

Monroe are a congenial couple, but had to cut their vacation short because of the TX Hurricane situation. We had a lot in common and would welcome them back anytime.
