We're offering boondocking at our home in large part because we are interested to learn more about long-term RVing. We have lived in Central Florida for over 20 years and are knowledgeable about the area and its points of interest.
Very limited mechanical skills. We have a thorough acquaintance with non-touristy areas of Central Florida.
Hamster and various uninvited Florida insects
None yet. Costco would appeal to us with those famous $1.50 dogs and soda.
Our rig is still a dream yet realized.
Really enjoyed our stay with RVDreamers. It's a lovely quiet neighbourhood and the hosts were very accommodating. Thanks!
We've had the pleasure of meeting their lovely family and stays two nights at their place. Quiet and peacefull neighborhood, great conversations.
Thank you for all.
We were very pleased to meet such wonderful Boondockers Welcome hosts. They are as welcoming, friendly, gracious and generous a host family as one could wish for.
We camped in their drive, biked the shady, oak lined streets in their neighborhood, meandered the riverfront walk and strolled through their re-vitalized downtown area, hopping on a Saturday afternoon.
Also visited NASA Kennedy Space Center to witness the SpaceX Falcon9 rocket launch for the Crew Dragon demo.
But, the creme de la creme was our shared meal featuring our host's homemade Neopolitan pizza, baked at 900 degrees in his Italian pizza oven.
Thank you, RVDreaming. When you begin to realize your RV Dream, please come visit us in Colorado.
Pleasant stay thanks to Bill and his family. Good recommendations of things to see in the area.
We stayed for 3 nights recently and were blown away by the kindness of Bill, Nina and their 3 lovely young boys. From local tips, loaning of snorkeling gear and a homemade pizza night in the famous pizza oven! The spot was quiet, flat and perfectly located to visit Alexander and Wekiwa Springs. Highly recommend!
Stayed 2 nights. This family was very welcoming and accommodating. Enjoyed visiting with them and playing a game of scrabble with the oldest son (he won). A good bike riding area, close to downtown for restaurants. We enjoyed very much.
Really enjoyed our rainy stay with this wonderful family. Had nice conversations and ate lots of his tasty pizza. Their three sons were easy to talk to and very talented too.
Hope their RV Dream comes true.
Such a sweet family! Bill and family were very attentive and gave us great recommendations as to where to go and what to do. Their driveway was a perfect spot for our visit to Sanford and surrounding areas.
Awesome hosts! They even gave us a personal tour of the city. Friends forever!!
We had a great stay for the second time and do recommend this site.
I squeezed my big 5er in their driveway and would do it again when I get back to that area. They were very sweet and helpful. Love💗you guys🌸
We had a safe quiet place to stay, made new friends and thoroughly enjoyed our time with this lovely family. We feel that the entire idea of this site was perfectly executed in our stay.
Nina and kids joined us a couple days later at Blue Springs to see the manatees come in and we played and sang some too!
Bill even brought out tools I didn’t even know existed when I had to fix a leaking a/c - climbed up on the roof with me and gave me a lesson on how the unit operated.
Can’t wait to see these guys again!
We loved staying with this family! So very welcoming and family orientated. We went to the local festival that was happening in town together and had a great time! We already miss being there and look forward to visiting again.
First stay using the Boondocks welcome worked out to be a great one. We made last minute decisions to stay in Orlando for Turkey Day. Bill & Nina's allowed us to stay at their home for multiple nights, even though they where away visiting family.
Water, 20 Amp electric, trash, and a flat level concrete pad. Parking space is a double drive, that turns into a single driveway along the side of house/carport. We have a 40' DP that fit fine in the space provided. If you have driver side slides they will have to be kept in; depending on how far the driveway you back up.
The house is on a quiet street, with little traffic throughout the day or night. Neighborhood has sidewalks throughout and is only a 1.5 mile walk to the river walk.
We didn't get to visit with the family for to long, but the short conversation was great.
We would stay here again if the in area.
Sandford is a beautiful location. Our hosts are the nicest family and we had a lovely time chatting with them. There is a boardwalk along the water that is within walking distance and the whole area was lovely. Thank-you B&N (and boys) from Tony and Cathy.
We loved staying in Sanford. It is such a neat town, and not too far from Orlando. Our hosts are the nicest family, and treated us like family. You couldn’t ask for nicer people to stay with.
A big thank you to Bill, Nina and the boys for letting us stay at their place. They were wonderful hosts, made us feel most welcome. Sanford is a beautiful place to explore, eat wonderful food. Thank you for a memorable stay from Phil and Jo
We came yesterday and the host, Nina, was very friendly and accommodating. Nice neighborhood, only a short walk to the lake. Very quiet and pretty location. We will definitely keep this location as a favorite to come back to.
This host made my first boondocking experience wonderful. It was very quiet, and very close to a charming city with brick streets only 3 blocks to the lake. I wish I had more time to explore. Very friendly family.
