My husband, Ron and I have been married 30 years and have 3 grown sons and a grandson. I am a retired RN and Ron is a retired aerospace engineer. I'm a quilter and enjoy many types of artistic endeavors. My husband is interested in aviation and human power, has a large organic garden and small fruit tree orchard. He is quiet and unassuming, and I am more outgoing. We are just starting out in our retirement travels and enjoy going slowly and traveling on back roads. We enjoy quiet time together. My husband is a conservationist by nature, employing the life motto of reduce - reuse - recycle.
My husband is a very handy guy, designed and built our home over the course of 4 years. I'm crafty and handy with sewing. I also have experience in geriatric case management along with hospice and palliative care.
We live in Friday Harbor, Washington and wish our property could accommodate hosting others, but sadly we have a sloped driveway and sloped property, not conducive to RV's or trailers.
1962 Corvair van conversion. Her name is Buttercup and my husband, Ron did all of the conversion work himself. She has a smiley face on the spare tire cover so you can see us coming from a distance! We are completely self contained with a flexible solar panel to provide energy for the spare battery.
