As an airbnb hostess for 5 years, with over 1000 guests, I haven't been able to roadtrip as much as I used to. Now retired and on a fixed income, I'm looking for affordable options to get back on the road again. I roadtrip more than camp for any length of time anywhere. I like my privacy and am able to come and go with good directions, hopefully no inconvenience on your part. I have one very small fur friend (who is quiet), and I always clean up after her.
Skills? not really. I have my hands full upkeeping the property and airbnb rooms!!! lol. But, I do have a library of metaphysical books if you need reading material during your stay. And, a native American drum room if you care to get in touch with your spirit guides!
Anywhere lakeside I can back in, unload the kayak and go!
Pahrump is a snow-bird town. LOTS of RV parks with lots of amenities. 3 grocery options, lots of fast food places and good restaurants. I live on the south end, about 10 minutes from the center of town. So, I get the peace and quiet, mountain and desert views, and AMAZING stary skies!
"Black Beauty" is a Class B Winnebago ERA 170XL. The Mercedes engine is so quiet most places never hear us pull in. The only hookup that might be nice to have is electric. I carry extension cords. But, most of the time, I'm self sufficient with solar lanterns and headlamps.
