David - I retired a little over 3 years ago after a 43 year career in the aerospace and defense industry. For the first 15 years of my career, I was a Contract Manager for the US Government. In that job we moved about every 2 to 3 years and saw a lot of the US and Europe. In one assignment I was responsible for all the telephone service (no Internet back then) for the US Army all over Europe. That meant I was required (darm it) to travel twice a year to all the various commandments we supported all the way from Wales in the West of England to Italy, to Belgium, to The Netherlands and to 7 locations in Germany. During the summer and whenever my wife could get away from school we drove a DIY conversion Dodge van on these trips and camped all over Europe. After I left the government and went to work for various aerospace firms, we settled in Texas, where we've lived for most of the last 28 years, but we also had a chance for another 2 year stint in Germany working for my civilian employer during this time. I also spent 2 years in Haiti working for my employer while supporting the UN peacekeeping efforts in the 1990's.
Letha - I retired the same time as David a little over 3 years ago. I taught school for 42 years, and along the way I taught in 9 different elementary and middle schools. I've taught in Arizona, Germany, Louisiana, Florida and Texas. I've taught 13 years of regular classes and 29 years of special education.
David - I've had a number of Internet sites over the years. At the moment I'm writing a book on writing books, and I also coach other people on creating their own book.
Letha - My main hobby at the moment is tole painting and folk art painting.
Don't have any yet. Just getting started.
