Early 30's Couple with a Passion for the Outdoors

Expired Guest

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

Hi! I'm Kate and travel full-time with my husband Matt. We are in our early thirties and have been traveling full-time for almost three years. We prefer boondocking over commercial RV parks and will seek them out first if possible. We both work from home and are typically inside most of the day, but enjoy going on walks in the morning and evenings.

You can check out our Instagram or Facebook by searching for our travel name, "Wheeled and Free".

Skills & Expertise to Share

Matt is a software engineer and I am a graphic designer! We consider ourselves handy people and I have a passion for cooking!

katehopson's Pets

We have a white shepherd and a small chihuahua mix.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Colorado, Texas, Baja California.

We love the beach and the mountains and everything in between. Our heart is in the Texas Hill Country and we return there often.

Happy to host such wonderful people here at mtnwildgoose Landing !

This lovely couple stopped by for a couple nights - and they helped me celebrate my birthday - by cooking me supper in their camper, even with a chocolate muffin, & favorite chocolate bar, and a happy greeting from their two exceptionally well mannered dogs. Thanks guys, our couple hours of discussions were very interesting - I have never met people with these types of discussions, for many many years. Happy trails, cheerful campfires, and sunny days to you both, from a wilderness wanderer to your family. Thank you, come again.

Great Guests

Kate and Matt stayed with us for two nights. They are interesting people with fascinating careers! Most of the time we hardly knew they were there because they were working inside their RV. Their two dogs are sweet and were no trouble at all. We would welcome Kate and Matt back any time, and we are hoping they will stop again on their way back from Alaska to tell us about their adventures.
