We are full time in our 30ft Class C RV. We recently purchased another investment property that we live on in our RV. We love to travel, boondock most of the time with a few campgrounds in between to empty out the tanks and refill the water.
I am a Building Contractor, we have also remodeled our RV. I am familiar with most RV systems, have replaced most everything in ours from the floor up to the AC on the roof!
We have a young energetic miniature long hair Dashund named Jax and a "plump" cat named Ziggy that lounges around our RV
#1 has been on Navarre beach near Pensacola FL listening to the waves crash on the beach
#2 next to the Golden Gate bridge, amazing view at night and in the morning!
#3 BLM land in Arizona, just to name a few
We lived in Clearwater Florida for many years before recently moving to Spring Hill to have some property.
We travel in a 2000 30ft Class C RV with 1 slide we call "Gary".
The Katz Family are an open, smiling, accommodating and interesting family. We staying a couple of nights, enjoying the chilled lifestyle, the largest camp fire we have ever seen and great company with the family. The stars where out in the trees last night and as we sat by the fire chatting. Definitely be visiting this wonderful family again!
Very enjoyable time with a great family. This farmstead is working towards perfection. Pigs, chickens and ducks!!
We adored our stay with the Katz family and our kids had an absolute ball with theirs. The location is great, power and water available and plenty of good company to be had. My only note would be that the ground is very soft and sandy and our two wheel drive got stuck a couple of times and we needed help to get out again. Also, if you have a long rig (ours is 37ft), we had to turn left into the driveway as turning right is too sharp a turn. None of these things get in the way of this being a great place to stay. 😁
Awesome hosts. This is our second time here. Very friendly and easy going. Enjoyed the many campfires with Alex and other boondockers from Australia. Great location, close to many kayaking spots. Kelly was a mini tour guide giving us ideas of the out of way places to see. Enjoyed Monkey Island, a suggestion of Kelly's. We now have new friends and hope our paths will meet again. Love the fresh eggs that you can purchase from them. Thank you for such an awesome experience. Virginia and Bob
The KATZ family are wonderful. We had an amazing time. They are gracious hosts. We have 3 children under 12 and they had SO MUCH fun.
Great experience. Lots of chickens, ducks, and pigs to enjoy. Kelly was so helpful in getting us set. Zach was the neatest kids. Andy talked with him many times during our visit. We stayed 5 days and even on a rain day we still had a nice time.
This family is the best!!! I dont even know where to start. From the very beginning they made us feel at home. Gave us places to visit and advice for the area. My eldest daughter loved playing with their youngest son and in her words "made a new friend". Both my daughters loved the animals on site. There were other boondockers there as well and we had nightly bonfires and shared stories and tips. This is the experience we were looking for! We learned so much from everybody and had a great time sharing stories and getting advice. This stay has reassured me that our travels are well worth it and we are making memories to last a lifetime.
Jan 18-23 we are returning for our second visit to the Katz’s family’s place as our first visit back in Nov didn’t allow us to see any of the attractions. Alex and Kelly and boys were very warm and friendly hosts. We had fun sharing several campfires together and potluck dinners. It was a lovely spacious spot to stay and we enjoyed their chickens, ducks and pigs. They provided us with lots of great suggestions on things to do and see. Our favourite was the 5.5 mile Weeki Wachee River kayaking. We had such a great time!! Highly recommend this place to others.
Nov 12, 2017 we stayed overnight with another couple in our RV’s at this spacious property and once settled in had an enjoyable evening sharing a large campfire with our hosts and family. Alex and Kelly were so friendly and very informative about things to do and see in the area. We very much recommend this place to stay!!
The KATZs are dynamate hosts who love people-and are easy to be with! Thanks to the KATZ family for sharing their home and good times with us. Their spacious ans cozy property is like a private RV park! Hope to host them in return some day.
The Katz family are great hosts, we shared several potluck dinners and many happy hours around the campfire. Alex and Kelly supplied us with directions to many local attractions including the Weeki Wachee Springs river kayaking tour. The best kayaking experience. Thanks to the Katz family for their generosity and hospitality, we felt like family. Hopefully one day we can return their hospitality at our home in British Columbia Canada. Thank you so much Gord and Lynda
What a great family who are very hospitable and easy going. Loved their chickens, ducks and pigs. One chicken tried to stowaway in our trailer until she was caught. Enjoyed the campfire and the nice quiet relaxing spot. It was too bad that we were there in the cold snap and could not enjoy it more. Highly recommend a visit to this location and visit this family. Hope our paths will cross again. Virginia and Bob
We found ourselves needing a place to park for a few nights last minute. The Katz family was going camping for the weekend but offered for us to stay on their property. We had to most amazing time! It was so quiet and relaxing and the kids had a blast following the chickens and ducks around. We hope to come back again so we can spend some time with them, they seem like really great people. Thanks again Katz family!!
The Katz family greeted us with a warm welcome. Unfortunately, we only had time to stay one night. We camped under the trees are their beautiful rural property. We enjoyed sharing stories around a campfire. The Katz family explained about local attractions. Our group of 3 retired couples is hoping to return in January for a longer visit. Thanks so much to the Katz family
