I am a bicycle events specialist. After racing bikes for many years I am now on the other side. I represent several bike related brands. My work takes me to lovely cycling destinations where I interact with the cycling community.
I travel with a camper and always boondock.
All things RV. Electrical n solar being most fun. And bikes.
Yes. They stay home.
22 foot HiLO tow behind. 20 foot pickup truck. Fully self sufficient, but water welcome to top off. Solar so needs no power unless it rains all week.
Still new to the boondocking thing. This was the 6th boondocker. When I decided to do this I was not concerned about the cost of supplying power to the guests because we both still work and did not know what to expect for the number of days of the month we would have guests.
This was our first guest who did not offer or ask about power. To be honest I was surprised to see him hooked up to power based of this description off the sight "Fully self sufficient, but water welcome to top off. Solar so needs no power unless it rains all week."
Enjoyed hosting speed banana. Had interesting conversations and he is welcome back anytime.
Andy was a good guest. He is a biker and enjoyed biking up our mountain and around. Very quiet and personable. We loved to have him.
