Very friendly, accommodating host. It was very quiet both nights. Would stay again!!
Met by host at arrival and she made sure I was good to go before taking off for the night. A very pleasant lady!
Was set up on a gravel street in front of the house. Strset was tucked out of the way from the main road. Also was a level spot.
All in all a good night's stay. But a few vehicles going by my rig late at night woke me up because of the noise they made on the gravel. Not really a big deal ... but affected how much sleep I got.
If you want to take the road less traveled through northern Missouri, this is a great place to stop. I arrived while this busy lady was working at the garden store. I was able to plug in and set up out front with only a bit of leveling. During the evening, lots of family activity in the neighborhood, but by bed time, all was quiet. Nice stay.
We had a fantastic stay with Magee. Off the beaten path but a wonderful host in a tiny town. There is a restaurant in town that serves breakfast and lunch but we didn’t go. We picked up donuts at the store there, Magee made coffee and we had a really nice visit before packing up. Will definitely stop again if we go that way
This was a great stopover to get a good night's rest. Our host was very helpful and waiting to help us get parked.
We so enjoyed our stay and visit with this host...Was invited inside in the evening and was treated to a glass of wine!! The electricity was most welcome as very warm with high humidity. We learned a lot about the little village that she lives in... If in the vicinity of her home, we would gladly stay again... We enjoy "friends" who like to visit!!!!
Couldn't have asked for a better host!!! Very helpful and welcoming. Also one heck of a good cook!!!!
We had a great time visiting with Magee. She was helpful with directing us into the area with bridges being closed causing detours. There was a city fair the night we stayed and we enjoyed meeting some of her neighbors and enjoyed delicious BBQ and fixins. We had delightful conversation and enjoyed getting to know her and her dog. Thanks Magee!
It was so hot and our host made every effort so we will be convenient.
We had hoped to stay but circumstances didn't allow us to get to here location
She was very friendly and helped us navigate the area.
Karen was a very gracious host who made a delicious dinner for me after an 11 hour day coming through the Ozarks with a mechanical issue. She does not get many visitors due to her location, but if you get a chance pay her a visit. I hope she gets down my way with her new rig soon.
